I'm building a Pump it Up Pro 2 machine, upgrading from a PIU Zero.
I had two of those PIU Zero machines and two years ago I build a Pump it Up Pro machine with almost no problems.
In fact using the original PIU/IO it can be easily possible to handle lights inputs, otherwise, the always good j-pac can do his work
It was request to me to build a Windows machine, the job is nearly done but I have a problem with movies: all movies codified with Mpeg 2 video format (as standard for pump it up pro...) are choppy and cut in the bottom.
I have this problem only with mpeg1 and mpeg 2 movies, for example mp4 works fine. The point is that all custom songs I have were coded with movies in mpeg2 format, so it's a bit frustrating recode hundreds and hundreds of videos.
The files avcodec-51.dll and avformat-51.dll are the same in PIU Pro 1 and PIU Pro 2 and if I set MovieDrivers=null in stepmania.ini (or static.ini) the game works fine (but without movies obviously). Otherwise if I set MovieDrivers=FFmpeg (and I put the ffmpeg.dll in program folder) I have the same choppy videos
I repeat, with PIU Pro 1 I had absolutely no problem and in this build the only problem seems to be mpeg 1 or 2 videos
Maybe I miss something, but there is a way to use Windows video decoders instead of built in codecs?
