I'm not sure if many people are gonna post here (hopefully I'm not the only one here ^^;), but yeah, anyone that wants to discuss anything pinball, be it IRL tables, Pinball Arcade, Pinball FX2, whatever comes to mind, this is the thread to do it!

I believe Jersey Jack Pinball is going to be releasing their newest table (The Hobbit) this month! It's nowhere near as flashy/loud as Wizard of Oz, but it's still a nice looking table that's a welcome breath of fresh air from the Stern tables that are still using 25 year old DMD screens. ;)

Wow, it's my first time back to ZIv in years, and the thread that gets me posting is a pinball thread.

I placed second in a tourney on Sunday, and it felt pretty good. I would probably have done fine if the No Good Gofers machine I was playing on didn't screw me out of several locks.

I felt the same way with Hurricane when I played it back in January; the spring on the plunger was never replaced, so because of that, I would never have enough force to get the ball to cross the gap and into the ramp to make the skill shot.

I don't think I've ever got the chance to play a real No Good Gofers machine, but it's a fun table in Pinball Arcade. : P

Gofers is pretty fun. The hole-in-one shot is sooooo satisfying to hit.

I've gotten pretty darn good at the older solid-state games. I think I had a game on Evel Knievel last for around 45 minutes after the tournament was over.
