How right you are...
Oh, this scene is painful. It's clearly just DDR ULTRAMIX 2 on an XBOX, hooked up with a metal pad. The song is a wierdly off-pitch version of Dead End, and anybody can see that he isn't doing the steps right. It doesn't help that he's not even trying to step to the rhythm, and the way he dances makes you think that he's being held up by wires while he attempts to cut a jig.

No, that was Yes Man. Grandma's Boy has some weird DDR machine with UM2 in it (as seen in the above video).

In Viva La Bam they once had an episode where they went to the Mall of America, and had the task of spending $100 in the dumbest way possible, and Bam's dad blows it on PIU.
We also have the music video for High On Emotion by Thomas Falke:
And from IIDX (either 2nd or 3rd), five fathoms:
On that note, why isn't this in DDR already? It sounds substream-y enough.

Yep, a DDR Supernova 2 to be exact. Despite the screen on the arcade machine displaying DDR Extreme 2.....

bump bcuz why not?
This is not necessarily DDR appearing in pop culture, but an episode of Disney Channel's show "Jessie" (I believe it was this show or maybe "Shake It Up") was called "Dance Dance Resolution".

Also, this next one is an "OMG! I SAW DDR, SDVX, AND POP'N!"
If you haven't already heard, Sophie Beem's music video "Skyline" was shot at Chinatown Fair (for those who don't know, an arcade in NYC), and there is a prominent appearance of DDR and cameos of Pop'n Music and Sound Voltex.

Well I can't find a video, but this image shall do.
From Yu-Gi-Oh! Episode 53 Steppin' Out (English Title)/Blazing Dance Battle(Japanese Title)
Tea Garner Vs. Johnny Steps (Dreadlock Johnny in Japanese) in a DDR-esque game.

The Uncle Grandpa episode "Lame Station" featured a clearly-inspired-by-DDR game known as "Dance Rebellion", but the gameplay of it seemed more like Jubeat for your feet because there were 16 panels on a 4x4 grid and they had to be stepped on when they lit up!

I saw this before but yeah it's so weird seeing a familiar place being used in a music video! :OIf you haven't already heard, Sophie Beem's music video "Skyline" was shot at Chinatown Fair (for those who don't know, an arcade in NYC), and there is a prominent appearance of DDR and cameos of Pop'n Music and Sound Voltex.
