SME is slamming away Konami. Why? Because they think they are licensing Konami's songs... I recieved an actually unfair copyright claim by SME just because I used Unreal, from DDR SuperNova 2.
Here is the proof (captured by me)
Music I used: .......................... Claimant:
If you were infected by the SME Blues, like me, Tell me and post a picture of the copyright claim you recieved.
Remember: Konami owns Unreal, NOT SME.

Companies can subcontract copyright claims, you know. In any case, before uploading videos, you can check out the Audio Library and check whether the song you intend to use will be allowed in countries. In this case, Unreal can't be played basically anywhere but the US and Japan, which makes sense in how they probably licensed the track. On the plus side, if you intend to use THE REASON from the same artist, it only won't be available in Germany.

Awww... don't feel too bad about it. As long as your videos can be found by your viewers (give them a link or something), they can still view it even if they are blocked in their countries (if they really want to). How? They can save your video on to their computer and watch it. The part that does really suck (and make me quite upset) is that YouTube also blocks out the comments section (meaning they can't even read the comments, let alone post) and that really ruins a viewer's enjoyment.
Anyway, on topic, come look at this. Guess which claim actually REALLY ticked me...
Tell me how much sense this makes... anyone?
Yeah, that's right. YouTube did this to me. And yes, I filed a dispute. It doesn't work. The whole process is flawed...
I have nothing left to do but to move on... it's okay. There are better things in life to be upset about.

Same goes for Confession / trance star. Yeah, I don't quite get it. Anyway, on topic, come look at this. Guess which claim actually REALLY ticked me...

I managed to remove the claim by replacing the song with a free song.
There's a reason:
YouTube changed this:
SME
to this:
SME
On behalf of: Konami
So SME and Konami gave me that copyright claim shown here:
instead of slamming them away?
However, the new version (with the free music) is going to replace the version with Unreal.
Yes, This is true. I still did not change my opinion on Konami.

I wouldn't be upset unless my video got blocked in half of the world because of a track that I didn't even use, but yeah you can most certainly do that.
