You can use videos in avi format, i think SM5 supports more formats but i dont know exactly wich ones are.

figured it out thanks
but i have a problem,I converted Mei and Metsubou tenshi nikokyuppin videos to AVI,have them set to play right at the beginning and it just stays black.
these are the only 2 i had a problem with.
halp pls?
