You know what? Tons of people want it done for both StepManias. How about this: this project will be done for BOTH StepManias 3.9 and 5! Does that sound amazing?

Well that sound great, both parts happy... But, if you start doing something on SM5 that as 105% freedom cuz of LUA, where u can do everything (and that is what makes a theme great, all the features u can make with LUA), dont you will get stuck cuz SM3.9 again is 106% limited/hardcoded?? just saying...

EDIT: Just saying... if you start doing this on 3.9 instead SM5, we just will have a very very retextured SM theme??

What we could do is make a BRAND NEW theme ONLY for StepMania 5 (I would need major help with that), and then half-ass it on 3.9, editing one of Takuya's SuperNOVA themes (Incase you forgot, I BELIEVE he's given all of us permission to do as we please with his themes.)

Hmm well agree, i like more that idea, I think you should start from SM5, it is cuz, as you said it, if you want to make an entire new DDR, and not just remake (3.9 here) of default themes. Yes, you have to focus on SM5 and then do a lite/very-high-limit version for 3.9

Im not expert at LUA but, with my very limitated knowledge in LUA I have made some cool stuffs, cuz I make themes too... Ill try to help if you need it but only for SM5.

UPDATE: I, myself, added Brilliant R.E.D in the Official DDR Songs category. The StepMania 3.9 DDR Galaxy requires Banners while the StepMania 5 DDR Galaxy requires Jackets.

It is not neccesary, SM5 can works with banner too... but it seems that the latest versions of DDR and others themes uses jackets. But anyway, banners or jackets are almost the same.

I added those songs in the list. Also, I have some good news and bad news. The good news is I'll remain working on the project. The bad news is I will be offline of this site due to WiFi problems. SM5 Would be nice. If you are including DDR Konami Originals then you would need Challenge charts for it so it can be boss material.
