Hey everyone, Gabrimax here.
I'm currently having issues with SM5. Sometimes FPSs drop from 60 FPS to 30, sometimes even lower, even using the default theme.
Turned on FPS Statistics, when it lags these strings pop up:
Does someone know how to fix it? It would be awesome, since i wanted to use SM5 on an upgrade cab and we don't have that much powerful PCs.

There's not much to do.
BGBrightness 0% will give you the highest frame rate. BGBrightness 100% is the next highest.
Turning off the screen filter makes a small difference.
Turn on Fast Note Rendering, it makes a big difference.
Turn off vsync.
Using a different theme doesn't make much difference unless the author went out of their way to hide everything, or added a bunch of complex things.
I tried a few themes and got this:
drunken-shame: 115
consensual with everything off: 112
consensual with everything on: 90
ddr 2014: 85
simply love: 95
Trotmania 3: 95
This is only about making frame rate faster in gameplay, because that's the only place it matters.

Yeah but the fact is that on my PC it goes 60 FPS stabile, but it randomly drops down. I mean, why does it drop? I have like everything turned off and it still drops as much FPS as when i have everything on. Even with using another theme, i have the same exact issues!
EDIT: I was playing with the Vsync and Texture quality on in AMD's options. My god i'm so stupid.Now i'm playing at a costant 60FPS.
I just hope that with cabs it'll go smooth like that!
