beatmania IIDX INFINITAS (PC)

Unlocking 3y3s (long ver) apparently depends on your clear lamps. With a lot of goods you could do that with a low score.

Besides, DJPs are score based. Say you fail a song with a score of 1137. That's 11 points. Clear it? Now it's 12. Hard clear? 13 points. Improve it to 1234 and from a B to an A? Now it's 16 points. Total up all of your best charts from each song. (Meaning, if your FC AAA on the 7N is worth 6 points but your B on the 7A is worth 11 points then you only get 11 points.)

In the latest patch I got a popup on the "card out" screen saying that I had unlocked Red by FMJ. And it happened right as my DJPs ticked up over 300. I also did not receive Red mid-credit even though I'm pretty sure I "had" it after stage 2. Prior to the patch (and in the first alpha test) unlocks were invisible and unannounced, with some people reporting them happening mid-credit. I only saw the surprise unlocks in the first alpha.

I meant if some of them were conditional like "get any AAA" or "clear all songs".

Also I have Flower now? Not sure what I did, if anything.

Hey Konami, instead of making this whole thing complicated with PASELI and e-Amusement CLOUD, why don't you give us what your LOYAL fans want?! Let us pay top dollar for the full game (unrestricted access), then implement your monetization!

From what we know, the game's initial songlist will have songs from beatmaniaIIDX 1st style up to beatmaniaIIDX 17 SIRIUS. Now, as you can see, there is already enough potential to monetize right here:

-You can charge for CUSTOMIZE content, even GOLI art!
-You can charge for new CS exclusive songs or new beatmania 5-Key revivals.
-You can implement an unlock system and allow us to pay to instantly unlock songs/content.
-You can charge for entire styles (18th and up)
**If you charge 5,000JPY for each style thereafter, you're already looking at a guaranteed 30,000JPY profit per player!

...I'm being as humane and generous as possible because I'm willing to pay for another true beatmaniaIIDX ConsumerSoft game!

Konami, please make this game a game that will make your loyal fans EXTREMELY happy!!!

beatmaniaIIDX INFINITAS has seemingly finished all Alpha testing with the final build release imminent. I suspect the release to be before summer 2016.





Although I spent a couple hours on this, I still doubt KONAMI would listen, but at least it's worth a try! I need you all to at least try to spam the hell out of KONAMI with this.

Infinitas is released!

It requires a subscription of 1598 Paseli/mo, which is actually a lot cheaper than I would've thought. Konami could've got more money out of me with songpacks and customizations like Trip Machina suggested. Or maybe they still will?

But ARGH the server goes down every day for 2 hours! And the downtime is 4pm-6pm in my time zone. WHY? Also, on the 3rd Tuesday of every month the downtime is an extra 2 hours longer. What is that for if you're down for 2 hours every day already?

brb after I add Paseli to my account and get set up. Also where are the controllers?

Since INFINITAS requires PASELI to play, does that mean non-Japanese eamuse accounts are SOL?

Pretty much. Paseli can be purchased with BitCash, but only Japanese accounts can do that. I have a Japanese account from back when e-amusement cloud went live (with Otomedius) but I'm still having trouble. Once I figure out how to jump through the hoops I'll help other people "get in" who want to be in.

☑ Attach a virtual e-amusement pass to my account. (Basically a Konami-generated 'fake' e-amuse card.)
☐ Buy BitCash
☐ Buy Paseli with BitCash
☑ Download the client. (2 GB)
☑ Download the massive 1.3 GB day one patch lol.
☑ Download this other 400 MB patch? What the heck this game just launched lololol.
☐ Login to the launcher.

What a sad day, I'm out. Subscription model is an awful idea. It's not that i cant afford it, I don't want to pay for something that I can't own and use whenever I want. I knew this would happen.


Back to ps2 styles on my CRT.

We all know how this game would end. With similar amount of money (for my country is less) you can pay a monthly subscription of World of Warcraft, a game that comes with more updated content and more attractive things (even if someone of you don't like the game, but this is a fact) than a bunch of songs from 2009 plus FLOWER.

I hope they can change this payment method, meanwhile i gonna still seeing videos of copula in youtube

That's what I though too, until I found out that you can bypass all that and buy BitCash from sites such as this. It's not the ideal solution imo, but it seems to be the easiest.

Also, I'm actually considering purchasing the subscription to play this. I think the price is reasonable, considering you only need to play at least 16 credits worth of songs to get your money's worth, also I finally have access to a BEMANI game while I'm not in Japan.

Yeah that's honestly not too bad a subscription price, considering how much money you'd spend on IIDX at the arcade if you had one close by. The only difference is PCs don't take quarters :v

I think the subscription price is actually LOW. I'm expecting to pay for songpacks or expansions on top of that. The full Jubeat iOS library costs over a grand. Infinitas currently costs $192 per year. If the content patches are free then that's crazy cheap for Bemani!

The World of Warcraft analogy is a good one though. Same price, more content, more players. And just as much of a grind!

Honestly $16 a month is not bad considering that's about how much I blow in an arcade trip to play IIDX. Now it depends what you get with that $16. If it's like 20 or so songs then yeah I'll pass. And that's all considering if anyone outside Japan can even get it.
