It's been 5 years since smmix.com went dark, the project was at a stand still, and i wasn't in the game anymore.
Recently i have started playing DDR again (SM5) and i rediscovered some of these amazing songs that the team created, and i feel that i can't just let them sit around to rot in my backups for no one else to see.
4 years of hard work from some amazing artists went into these songs, all in the name of bringing a free song pack to the masses.
The original goal in 2006 was to bring great content to people, without fear of licenses and lawsuits. Alot has changed since then but these songs and step charts are still a hell of a lot of fun to play.
I am not sure how i am going to bring this back. i could just put them up as an archive to be distributed, but I really want to revive the site, and these songs complete. to be honest, out of the 150 songs we were working on, about 60 of them were nearly complete and damn good quality.
I'll keep things updated here as i run through my archive and see what i can dig up.
