What are some DDR songs that you think are either unique in song, unique in chart, or possibly even both? My first pick is the original Wild Rush, but songs like CHAOS and AFRONOVA come to mind as well.

I'd like to think that Bag by RevenG is pretty unique, musically and step-chart wise.

Holic for being probably the song found in DDR that's in 7/4 for the majority of it. MAXIMIZER too, given its many time signature switches in the second half of the song.

Ska Ska No. 3. Lots of jacks but it goes with the style of the music which is unlike anything else I've heard in DDR. Very silly sounding and no bass at all.
Arrabbiata for the same reason, but it has a very tricky and interesting chart that seems to derive from exotic ethnic.
Both are crossovers from pop'n music. Is that OK?

Arrabbiata is unique in that it's one of the small handful of pop'n crossovers that are absolute garbage.
(I don't like it very much.)

I always thought Electro Tuned was kind of unique since there's that random speed change in the beginning (meant to correct blue arrow syndrome) but it actually stays on sync rather than going off sync Well, on Extreme at least. I haven't played it on a Supernova/Supernova 2 machine in ages.

Uranus for basically being like twelve songs in one separated by pauses.

DYNAMITE RAVE and END OF THE CENTURY were interesting songs themselves.

My favorite always will be SO DEEP, the best song in DDR and nice steps.

Lament Configuration in UNIVERSE 3. Moreso the song itself than the stepchart.

adding TWILIGHT ZONE as it's one of the best DDR charts on :hea; ever, using a combinations of gallops, flowing crossovers and freezes

PARANOiA Survivor rhythm is one of most unpredictable for me. That chart is incredibly messy and it seems hard to memorize all the beats. It's interesting as a song too in my opinion.

These are crossovers from other games, but I first heard them on DDR and found them unique:
INFINITE PRAYER
The Big Voyager -INFINITE PRAYER REINTERPRETATION-
AFRONOVA PRIMEVAL
INJECTION OF LOVE (HINA MIX) [technical case, as this instrumental version is DDR exclusive]
Gamelan de Couple
gentle stress
The Cube
route 80s
22DUNK
Deep clear eyes
Into the world
Music To Your Head
R10K
G2

ZETA and Holic are really unique songs in my opinion. The first one has a 5/4 meter in some parts and the second has a 7/8 meter in the beginning. The whole SABER WING series by TAG also come to mind. They all share some similar melodies but are all very different in other ways, which I find really cool.

Just listen to the song. And by that I mean get the song itself, not playing it in DDR. The steps are perfect if you know the song itself, but if you don't then it can throw you off.
Anyway, the 4th Mix Plus Xanadu Maniac chart is pretty darn unique.

PARANOiA ETERNAL with its 7/4 time signature for the majority of the song. Too bad they removed the old jack-heavy chart
