hate to throw pessimism in this, but i have every reason to believe the person who "found" this is lying and it's a hoax

What really makes me wonder is whether or not they truly had a PlayStation logo established in 1992, and why they would use a controller with said logo instead of the generic SNES one, which is exactly alike.

According to a recent video, it is believed Ólafur Jóhann Ólafsson, former CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Inc. kept a prototype of the Nintendo Playstation. According to the story, he brought this early model with him when he left Sony for Advanta Corporation. It was kept in a box that was meant to be thrown out. This unit was supposedly found by the worker's son, but this story is yet to be confirmed.

I couldn't disagree more but yay for being a minority. What about at least a "game news" thread or something to separate some the news pieces + life + opinions + pictures + arguing + occasionally interesting discussions that are now buried in news pieces, life, opinions, pictures, and arguing
On topic, it sounded interesting until someone said "hoax." Boo.

I will keep a mix of both. Some stories are important enough to warrant their own thread for discussion.

Would you also say that about Sonic Xtreme? Have you no sense of both history and art?

Yeah, I would.
And a fake SNES CD isn't "art" or "history", and neither is Sonic Xtreme, so I don't get what you're trying to accomplish with that last bit.

I think I can answer that. But it's more fun if we get Yippie, the ZIv Answer Dog.
Does that answer your question, Danny boy?

Also the guy won't test the console because he will "fuck it up" or hasn't even tried to find a power supply, raises suspicion.
