A lot of artists who haven't really been seen since Walk It Out was published have since shown up in Cross x Beats, but that's probably more to do with a generational shift in both composers and players, and changes in the Japanese music business, that make commissions from doujin artists much more appealing than commissioning people who have long worked in the industry. Capcom are a more 'traditional' Videogame company, who like to employ traditional 'videogame people', while Konami are trying to capitolise on changes in the videogame and music industries.

The idea of people being blacklisted is complete fan theory. It's from the same hivemind that told us 'Tatsh will never come back to Konami' and 'DJ Troppers is definately the final IIDX game'. If Slake does get commissioned again, then we'll know it's fabricated, but until he does, people will hold onto the theory that Konami are being dicks to everyone, and we'll never really know what his status is.

灼熱Pt.2 Long Train Running SPH



Assuming that DJ Mass MAD Izm* is still working on that second album, I'm hoping that the album version has more bass behind it than it does in the game version, similar to what happened with Beach Side Bunny. But I like this. Hopefully Dynamite will make it into the SUPER FUTURE 2323 PHASE because I never thought a twerk beat would be in IIDX and I really need to know what USAO did with this song.

I'll be the one to say it, 灼熱Pt.2 Long Train Running is garbage. How can you do this to me Mass MAD?

Totally agree... I was so excited for pt.2, 'cause Shakunetsu (pt.1) was an awesome song which I really loved and enjoyed... but pt.2 turned being a mediocre and dissapointing song... :/ (Well... never as BLACK... that was, mediocre, dissapointing AND lazy xD... love the rest of stuff by MAD Izm*)

I also didn't like 灼熱Pt.2 to be honest, it feels like it lacks something to be at least at par with Beach Side Bunny.

While I do think Long Train Running is weaker than Beach Side Bunny, I still like it. As I said before, I have a feeling that the album version of it, whenever it's released will sound better. I still feel like that towards Beach Side Bunny; I love the way it sounds on I AM NOT A DJ and how that full bass sound was kept when the song crossed over to DDR, but in IIDX that full bass sound is stripped away from the majority of the song until the last few measures of the song. I don't understand why that happened. Songs like this really need that bass behind it.

Long Train Running wants to be Beach Side Bunny, and... isn't. In a number of ways.

I have to agree; Long Train Running is okay, but it's not like Beach Side Bunny; it just lacks that "oomph" the first one had.

Also, part of me hopes Do The Thing is next, if only so the comments on Youtube can be flooded with Varrick/Zhu Li/general LoK references. >>

I like it just as much as Beach Side Bunny. It's bizarre that the song has the same name as a well known pop song though.

What I'm really anxious to see is the new UIs.
