Meaning behind your name?

My username is Quickman because that's the name of one of the bosses from Mega Man 2, and I thought he was really cool, having a neat design, infamous stage and ohmygod is he a douchebag in the comics. I've stuck with this username for most websites for the better part of seven or eight years.

What's the reasoning behind your username?

In the beginning I just went with the nickname "Nightmare" since 2008, but in Z-I-V I would add "Spirit of" for good measure.

In all honesty though, if I had a possibility of making a name change, I'd change to "Blackquill" (a homage to Simon Blackquill from Ace Attorney 5: Dual Destinies)

Original username was RYgonTM, then shortened it to RGTM and added x's. That's pretty much it.

Honestly could've sworn there was already a thread like this, but my 1 minute of searching ended up fruitless.

My username came from a combination of "anonymous" and my favorite animal at that time "wolf". The "mous" in "anonymous" always looked like "mouse" to me, so I replaced that with "wolf". It looked cool to me back in 2009, but it's an old shame name at this point.
I go by Sigrev2 now, which is the name of a song from ULTRAMIX4 and the first song in the DDR series, in my book, that really started the branching out into more complex compositions for the series.
Alan, if you could make me Sigrev2 on here, that would be most excellent.
On YouTube, I'm known as TheSenileFeline. Back in 2009 when I wanted to make a new account (I've been around since 2006 on other accounts), I had no idea what I wanted to name it. By happenstance, I had another tab open to a list of palindromes (don't ask me why, cuz I couldn't tell ya), and "senile felines" was among the list. I thought it was a cool and catchy kind of name, despite me being neither senile nore a feline. 2009 was a bit of a, how you say, moron. Shortened it a smidge, added "The", and there we have it.

My origins are far from exciting, I'm aware.

Mine comes from DigiMindAxel, which is my original username. At some point, I decided to shorten it, but then I reverted it back to DigiMindAxel everywhere (save for ZIv, which doesn't allow username changes anymore, sadly).

"DigiMind" comes from Digital MinD (A/T Libra mix), one of my favorite TaQ songs.
Axel is just my real name.

This named deviates from my, regretably, AIM name all that changed was Doghouse went to Dogman and 1227 is my date of birth.I don't regret the name though as it's able to work in any time point.

Cowtao is ironic as Taoism is represented by Black and White and Cows are usually in Black and White.

My first name is Jared, but using that as my username sounded cheeky. So, I went with _|/-\43D because it looks like Jared, and doesn't sound cheeky.

There was a previous thread about this, but it was locked a long time ago, but I fairly remember there being a more 'recent' one before this one. Oh well.

My username here was actually maxninja09, at the time I picked up DDR I started out with KONAMIX but it was borrowed from a friend. After we played the hell out of KONAMIX, we got our first DDR bundle for the PS2 which was DDRMAX, after playing it for a while I noticed a song that had red font, which we all know was MAX 300. At the time, I've never seen a song scroll so fast, at 300BPM that shit was CRAZY. So when deciding a username back when I had a battle.net account, I went with maxninja114, 'max' for the game and song that got me really into DDR, 'ninja' because I was a narutard at the time, and '114' due to the strange occurances my family has with that number.

Here on ZIv, it was first maxninja114, then maxninja09 with the '09' being my high school graduation year, and ultimately just became 'Max' because Alan was tired of changing names for everyone on top of people abusing said power within a single day. I could have changed it to something else but I think the name just stuck with me.

Waaay back around the AIM days, I chose gameboy as my username (because I was like 10), but that was taken. They said "what about these names?", and gameboy673 was one of them. So that was my username most places, but when it came to making an account here, I changed it to gameboy573 because Konami.

Lately, I've been using Sapphonix as my username in other places like Steam, Nintendo, and SoundCloud. That comes from sapphire (my birth stone) and the suffix -onix, which both is a misspelling of another stone (onyx) and a different form of -onic (as in tonic) used in a similar way to Pentatonix. I'd ask for a name change but I think you need a really good reason to get one of those here, and I don't think I have one.

A viper obviously is one of the main families of snakes, the one that rattlesnakes and several other venomous snakes belong to. I've loved snakes for a long time, I owned three of them as a kid. "-Viper-" seemed like a good choice when I registered because the word looks nice written down and seemed catchy, even though my favorite snakes are not actually vipers but elapids (like cobras, coral snakes, and taipans).

The hyphens are there simply because there was already an inactive member named Viper.

Bruno is my name, B and G are my other initials, 24 is the day of my birthday. I had no idea what to put as my username so this very uncreative name came out :v

Now, I'm using NKcell (Natural Killer cell, a type of lynphocytes) as my username in most other places, including YouTube.

I used to be a huge J.R.R.Tolkien / Middle Earth fan, so I named myself after a tree whose flower became the moon in Middle Earth mythology. Cool enough and unique enough to stick with for this long :>

My name is kind of misleading because it sounds like Mr. Ace....that's not it. MR are actually my initials, the word ace is actually Race and stands for the videogame genre I love the most (Racing games <3) and 2010 is the year I joined the internet. Because a double R would not fit, the name morphed from MRRace2010 to MRace2010

Creativity at its best it's not, but it's one of the names I love the most...I don't know why xD. Maybe "Racey" alone would go, too...
