DDR Courses collection

Not sure which arcades implement 'em but as far as battery lives are concerned, DDR X3 provides 8 lives for 'normal' courses and 4 lives for 'difficult' courses.

I was referring to X2 AC.

I had a suspicion it was the other way round, but couldn't quite remember. I plan to check soon anyway.

this applies from X onwards to X3: courses with 4 songs (iirc this is the lower limit) have the normal lifebar while courses with more than that have the battery lifebar, 8 lives on normal, 4 on difficult.

That can't be right - Sakura Street on X2 has five songs and normal lifebar. Is someone else able to check?

Open the file in note pad and check yourself. You've probably got songs in differently named folders than the database like I was talking about earlier.

Check out DDR X2 and DDR X3 in wikipedia. If it ain't vandalized, then it shows that courses with 5 songs use the normal lifebar and courses with 6-7 songs use the battery lifebar. And for the battery lifebar case, you get 8 at normal difficulty and 4 in difficult difficulty.

The 8 battery behavior is an X series feature. In the DDRX CS and as far as I can remember of the X arcade version, if you choose first if you like to play Nonstop or ONI's, and if you choose an ONI, it gives you 8 battery lives if is the normal difficult, and 4 battery lives if you choose the hard difficult, but as I can see this could not be implemented on the .crs files, will be more like a theme related behaviour.

Each course have 4 or more songs.
This apply on nonstop and challenge courses.
Default song numbers for nonstop:
DDR X - X3: 5 songs.
Older versions: 4 songs.
These numbers don't apply on challenge courses.

Thanks 3x3qui3l, your banners are added, they are so nice!. I've made some when I've ripped some of the 3rd and 4th mix, but they looked like powerpoint presentations I have to study and check better the konami style, there is a lot of courses without an official banner I'll be unlocking the remaining Hottest Party versions to complete the courses. Maybe I'll try to create some banners and put them here to check what could improve.

Thanks for the support I'll be ripping some things to delete some discs and make some free space to continue dumping banners and creating courses for the missing games.

Also, the X2 banners look a little blurry. There was a file that contained all the jackets from that game, including courses, e-amuse stuff, etc. Maybe someone can crop them so they look better.

So nice, thanks, they are in better quality the X2 and X3 arcade banners I've taken from the website, that's the reason for the blur, Ill also have to crop thhe Hottest party banners, cause they're jackets, as like a curiosity, this one of the banner that I was trying to do, is similar to the one that you have done



Thank for the X2 AC banners, I will crop them soon to update the ugly old banners.
