Yeah, I know. I don't want to re-release his files if he doesn't want me too, but how can I be sure he will or won't be okay with it if I can't even contact him?

Well, you can just assume that it's not ok and make your own files...

I wish there was a way to know for sure. I'm attached to the files, but I don't want to be tacky. Sure, it's enough I'm imitating Konami's game and could get in trouble, but DDRMAX4 is non-profit and will probably never be as popular as Konami's official games. I'm doing this half for just for my home entertainment, and the other half to redeem myself from the mess in 2013 and to see if I can make a decent DDR fangame.

Hey, you're doing fine. Nothing to be scared of. As you said, you don't own most of those songs, and you just want to demonstrate what a real-deal DDR game would look like. You're doing a great job. Besides, I assembled the song list. I'll take the blame if anything's wrong. Keep up the good work, especially if you are planning to make your own steps of those simfiles you weren't allowed to keep.

Question, were you going to be using the actual DDR MAX3 simfiles or were you going to make your own based in the songs you listed?: If it's the latter you're welcome to use my version of Bambino if you'd like. I'm also willing to help with steps for songs if need be. This is looking to be a pretty cool project.

By the way, I can't remember which one, but I think there was this song that I tinkered with the offset for because it was a tiny bit off-sync.

If you want, I can send you mp3 of some of the Dancemania songs I recommended. Oh and if a song has a offical music video of it's own, use it in the game.

I was working on Ladybug's stepchart but my power got cut off for two hours, and I don't think I'll finish it today after that.

I might start gradually cutting the amount of DDR4ever songs... CRY ME A RIVER is one song that I'm not certain about.

FYI The MP3 for destiny is wrong. May have to fix it soon....

That is exactly how I found dancemania licenses earlier. I wanted to do CANDY (Planet Remix) but it's just a sped up version of CANDY.
