Those songs are in my list on DDR Galaxy, Max 4 is different. They aren't yours. I plan to make my version of those songs. Heck, I didn't even START either of those songs yet!

If you'd let me use those simfiles, I would appreciate it...but I'm not requesting anything.

I want Max4 to have a callback to DDR Ultramix. For some reason, there are background movies... In the menus. Ring3 was the main menu/select music screen, Text10 was the edit data screen, Text5 was the DLC screen, Square2 was the options screen, some others. I didn't want it going too far, so I simply set the select music, course, and evaluation backgrounds;



Disco2 is what turns out to be DDRMAX4's mascot (a massive amount of BGScripts I have planned for the songlist use it, even if none of the other similar movies are used). Circle11 matches the "get ready for a marathon" vibe an ONI course gives, and Crystal1 gives off the "heaven" vibe, "you're all done!". I have a feeling Crystal1 isn't suited for being an interface cameo, though. I'll gladly change it to another movie if enough complaints are raised.

Getting the screen evaluation background to be changed without affecting screen I didn't want to edit (like Edit Mode) was actually frustrating. I could get the transitions, but not the static screen, until I finally realized it was the .redir files that were the source.

DDRMAX-EXTREME has 10 video titans; They are quick-access videos in another location on the disk's file tree that can be used for any script (most of the videos are in genres and don't frequently overlap in the arcade mixes).

DDRMAX2 and onwards:



I want the final version of DDRMAX4 to have all of its background movies in 800x600 and be more flexible, meaning my versions have to be used.

Most of the DDRMAX2 ones are fine (I'm being stupidly lazy on geometry and stairs). However, these two might not be.



They are both complete and utter messes. Ribbon2 might have to be cut. And I tried remaking Tunnel2 a month ago, and....



I... don't think that looks right. :/


My main role in this is the background movies, fixing some of the banners (some are actually upscaled), getting all of the backgrounds 800x600 (like the BGmovies), and adding double charts for a majority of the songs. Seriously, 70% of the songs don't have doubles charts whatsoever. Oh, and beginner charts (hamsand deleted all of them from the ones that already did).

Interface Beta:



I want the score frame to only have the required player side. Player 2's score should be removed altogether. I also need to fix the top of the UI so that is stretched to go past the top of the screen, and align the stage number thingy. Other than that, I'd say it balances out DDRMAX(2) and FESTIVAL nicely.

Working on DDRMAX4 also benefits to my DDRMAX-Extreme Videos Recreation Project because it's motivating me to remake videos I was not considering remaking.

And yes, the Flaky & Toothy BGMovie is going to be in the final project. I have to be careful what I use this BGMovie for, there are 6 songs it appears in so far and I think it at least vaguely fits in those 6 songs.

Just wondering whether or not you have permission to edit the simfiles made by other users. I see a lot of ddr4ever files there...

Yeah.... I didn't assemble most of the (current) songlist, someone else did. Once I figured out it was from ddr4ever, I raised concerns... The files are fun to play, but I don't want to tick off whoever made them... I still have some backup songs to step in case things fail. Besides, this is still beta, a massive amount of songs could be changed in a second.

The problem, again, though, is that I don't have enough license ideas to fill the gap that'll be left if I take out the songs that can't be in there....
