Anyone think we should update the song backgrounds from DDR X to the current style, i.e., the song's jacket on top of a blurred, darkened, fullscreen copy of itself? In many cases, since the community only had the banners to base them off from, the custom BGs made for those songs long ago wound up not looking like the official jackets once those were introduced in X2. Even most of the SN/SN2 songs were updated thusly, so not sure why X hasn't gotten the same treatment yet.

I second this. In fact, I actually support replacing almost all of the old custom BGs (mainly the 4:3) ones with generic BGs.
And while we're at it, the videos from the DDR SN2 and X categories (e.g. Horatio, PARANOiA ～HADES～) are, for the most part, still using their old 4:3 aspect ratio versions from X instead of the updated 16:9 versions used since A.
