About

Q: What's with the "XQ" and what does it stand for?
A: "XQ" is pretty much inspired from GFDM's "XG" title in 2009-2011. Q stands for "Quality", as I hope to make charts that make more sense at the very least, plus, see below. X doesn't really stand for anything. I guess the fact that I've been making simfiles for almost 10 years counts?

Q: So what's new in XQ?
A: Audio files use 192kbps .ogg now as opposed to the 128kbps mp3's I've been using since 2006 back when DDRUK simfiles were still a thing. This is mainly because I get negative feedback in simfile contests whenever I put in a 128kbps mp3 file. Also, simfiles must have a banner, a jacket, a background, and 192kbps .ogg audio. Optional stuff include a video (quality I'm still trying to figure out), and doubles steps no doubles steps? lol "Quality" yeah right
Additionally I'll be uploading banners in 512x160 and jackets in 512x512 moving forward. Backgrounds remain 640x480. Trying to be consistent (somewhat) with official simfiles.

Q: Will the hyped stuff that weren't released back in the previous mix be included in this one?
A: As much as possible.

Q: Will older simfiles be XQ'd? (i.e. .ogg audio, etc?)
A: Will do them gradually, kinda like how the GFDM XG/GITADORA series revives older songs. A lot of them might need new stepcharts as well. These will be counted as revivals in XQ01.

Q: Will there be a pack?
A: Probably. For XQ01. I'll see.

NEO GENERATOR SEVEN updated.

Before I release the next batch though, I would like to know if the sync is ok, especially for the updated NEO GENERATOR SEVEN.
This is the first time I'm doing a 0 offset simfile instead of forcing the offset to the time value after the first blank measure of the first BPM.

I also intend to ditch DWI support entirely since I'm quite comfortable in using SM5 now for editing.
