Yeah, idk what is going on either. I tried downloading another random sim, and it worked fine. Just checked these 3 again and still no d'l. The 3 pack d'l works though. Thanks Ben. Hope whatever the issue is getting squared away soon. Do you have a banner with the jacket for the 2016 update?

The problem is z-i-v doesn't replace filename that using special characters can't using regular file (like the front '#', '?'), and all the three songs have that problem.

I added correct link of them(using % character in url) in individual simfiles, and we can download them now. (Needs the replace filename in z-i-v when we use custom simfile)

"December 31st Update"? Anyway, hyped to see some Royal Blood and 1975 in the fray! Any chance, now that The Sound has been a surprisingly long-lasting top 40 in the UK that it could have a chance for a future addition? It's so perfect for DDR, with its piano-trance groove!

LOL FUCK.

As for The Sound, I WAS actually going to use that in this, to the point where it may or may not have been stepped and finished, but it just didn't really suit the Rock theme, it's more of a house song than anything aha so.. definitely coming soon! Once I can find 2 others to fit a theme of course Wink

Now that I think about it, there are a few types of sets it could fit in:

Playing Against Type
Cheap Thrills / Sia feat. Sean Paul
I Took a Pill in Ibiza (SeeB Remix) / Mike Posner
The Sound / The 1975

Burn Down the House
I Took a Pill in Ibiza (SeeB Remix) / Mike Posner
Lush Life / Zara Larsson
The Sound / The 1975

The Sleeper Hits (Yeah, can't think of a clever name for this one)
All My Friends / Snakehips feat. Tinashe & Chance the Rapper
I Took a Pill in Ibiza (SeeB Remix) / Mike Posner
The Sound / The 1975

Hmm, looks like there's something else that keeps coming up too... Wink Guess I'm excited since it's finally doing well on both coasts!

I'M ON A ROLL THIS MONTH!
(I think me extending this to a 2016 pack meaning I can focus on the missing Double charts in my own time has left me feeling not so burnt out aha)

http://i.imgur.com/QIGh7by.jpg

Presenting 3 songs with a 'house' style, including chilled out track 'I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Mix)', Galantis' smash hit 'Peanut Butter Jelly' (which contains one streamy Challenge chart!) and rounding off the pack indie greats The 1975 with 'The Sound', a song that's quite a departure from their usual style. Enjoy!

Teachers and those wary about downloading non child-friendly content, take note that 'I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Mix)' contains one expletive at the beginning of the song, the F-bomb, download at your discretion.

Once again, thanks for the great songs and charts, and instead of censoring the music, you offer disclaimers on which songs have explictives and advice those to download at own risk. Thank you!

No problem at all, my pleasure! I actually always try to find a clean version or censor it myself (if anyone's played Ugly Boy you'll see what I mean aha) but if it compromises the sound or flow then I'll leave it aha.

Also, full pack download (up to now!):

Since the content advisories were only a recent thing, I thought I'd go back and create a comprehensive guide for teachers and parents: so far I'm up to the "B"s, so it might take a while. Let me know if there's anything I should add!

"OK, let's go take some shots. Oh no, I feel like I'm about to throw up."
"There's no vodka at this table."

There are depictions of smoking and drinking.
The main character gets progressively less dressed in the meat cellar scenes, rubbing animal blood on his body.
There are shots of the characters with no clothes on having sex. No genitalia are visible.
A "waterfall" of blood falls over the characters while they embrace with implicit sex. Once again, no genitalia, but they are noticeably drenched in blood.

The song uses a metaphor of predators hunting prey for stalking.
"Hunt you down, eat you alive just like animals."

The blood-soaked characters are depicted on the banner, but in black and white.

Also, since I notice the additions of the doubles charts, I don't suppose you could add the SSCs separately to the simfile page with step updates? It's much more efficient than having to download the whole simfile at 20MB a pop for a chart file that's 1/1000 the size.

May I make a suggestion? Maybe concerning the pack uploads only, and not the individual simfile zips, maybe create 2 seperate pack uploads, one for the music/graphics/charts and the other for just the movies only (no music/graphics/charts).

For the movies, just place each movie in a folder with the same name as the name of the simfile so that when you unzip the movie folder, you can just drag all movies to their respective simfile all in one go.

No need to make a seperate sm for the video pack. You can just make the videoless pack contain the necessary bg video info to play videos, and if a player decides to not download the videos, that should be fine, because when stepmania/the sm file calls for a video that is not contained in the simfile folder, the song just plays on and just displays the graphics if there are any. Even a sm file with bg video info played off of a usb on r21 should work no problem, as it just doesn't play any graphics or videos that would be on the flashdrive anyways.

DDR Addict: WOW dude, that's incredible, thank you so much for that. Obviously it's a major project doing the same kind of stuff for every simfile so if you don't want to I completely understand but it's so awesome you'd even consider doing something like that aha! As for the .SSC files, yeah I will upload individual ones soon, don't know why I didn't do that in the first place!

Tyler: Hmm, noted definitely, I do understand some wouldn't want the videos. My next compilation I'll probably do just that, thanks for alerting me aha.

Wanna know some cancelled songs for this pack? Why the hell not!

Can't Deny My Love / Brandon Flowers
Down Under / Men At Work
Lazaretto / Jack White
Little Talks / Of Monsters And Men
Linger / The Cranberries
Mountain At My Gates / Foals
Pedestrian At Best / Courtney Barnett
Where The Streets Have No Name / U2

SO, literally all of these were cancelled due to drifting BPMs being a pain in the arse. Can't Deny My Love and Little Talks were going to be in an indie pack, with the 3rd undecided. Originally I planned a WORLD MUSIC pack, but instead of it being music from around the world it'd be songs referencing places, so I Took A Pill In Ibiza was originally grouped with Down Under (Australia), with perhaps Africa by Toto rounding the pack off. Lazaretto, Mountain At My Gates and Pedestrian At Best were going to be themed after the Awards; Lazaretto won a Mercury Award, Foals won Best Live Act for an award show I had forgotten, and Pedestrian At Best won an award at the Brits.

Where The Streets Have No Name was intended to be released yesterday for a St. Patrick's Day bonus single, but unfortunately it was not to be, and my backup, Linger by The Cranberries, was also a pain in the ass.

All of these still received cuts, most received graphics and video cuts as well aha. All of these break my heart as they are songs -I- would've loved to have had to play just for my own amusement aha.. But yeah, there's a little insight into some stuff you wouldn't know about!

Toss me what you have on these and I can sync them up. I'm not as prolific a you so it will probably take 3 months to do but I'd love to be able to help out.

Rock Band data might be able to help with Down Under and Linger. They're not perfect, but I've synced a few sims (notably The Hardest Button to Button, though it never got a release because I got lazy and never did all the charts) from their BPMs, and I just verified that those 2 have been documented. I'll send you the relevant images later today if I get the chance.

UPDATE: These are the vocal charts for the two songs in Rock Band. The relevant data is the BPM, marked above a beat each time it changes. Hopefully you can tell from these where your cut lies, and from that you can try out the corresponding BPMs.

(Also, you'll want to open the images in a separate tab when looking at them; they're rather large.)

Just a guideline Drugs / Language / Partial Nudity get PG-13 ratings out here, excessive language would probably put it at 17 and straight up hardcore porn an 18 age restriction.

You're way conservative on your recommendations. I've done similar things with my entire library, most songs I put at 13 with video / 10 without if they had like well stuff. There's only two or three I put at 17 (CeeLo Green - Fuck You, Lords of Acid - You wanna Suck My Pussy, DJ Assault - Ass and Titties, Magic - Down for my Niggas, and Halloween (Michael Myers Mix) because the video shows a murder scene). I'd recommend turning down the dial a bit. I did this so when I go to school functions or public events I can quickly remove content that is inappropriate. Like if I go to a church thing I'll pull everything that is 10+, same with school things, and for public events I'll only pull the 17+ stuff.

Woah helrazor you'd be willing to perhaps gimme a hand? I'll PM over the song files aha but if you don't feel like it in the end or can't I completely understand, synching is a nightmare aha.

And thanks for digging those out DDR Addict, I should've thought about looking up RB data aha, I'll see what I can do, really appreciate it!

ALSO I remember Halloween (Michael Myers Mix) from DDRExtreme aha that was one creepy, streamy file.

Rock Band BPM data won't be 100% accurate from that view because it rounds it to having only one decimal place. Also, sometimes Rock Band's stems will be different from the way the song was actually released.

I sent you a message on Reddit before, Ben, but if you'd like help with syncing up songs or even flattening the BPM to something consistent, let me know. Tongue

How do you take a song and convert it to a standard BPM? I know DDR has done that with some songs from the PS3 game and it's incredible, but there has to be limits to this technique.
