The demise of DDR S+

Well fuck. I went to download DDR S and they updated it. So no more 3.1 support. well that's $15 dollars that is now just going to sit there. Unless someone happens to know how I can obtain a previous version that is still 3.1 support.

They apparently fixed the bug. It says in the app store requires iOS 8 or later.

Konami fixed a lot of problems with the game on the newer devices. There was a recent update that added some sort of weird graphic so the game, so it wouldn't have the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. So they fixed it so now you can connect to the server to download packs again. Although, the game mode feature does not work for me anymore. It just crashes.

Or you can just update your iOS, unless its jailbroken.

Did they fix the choppy framerate?

UPDATE: Checked it and nope, still the same. However not only are the S+ exclusives are gone, ALL licenses are gone now. Not even ones that bought them can be re downloaded.

I don't get choppy frame rate in my game. I think the timings are pretty weird for the taps.

A Gen 1 iPod Touch can only go as high as iOS 3.1. So updating is out of the question and I don't have the money to buy a new iPod Touch that has the newer/current iOS. My iPod Touch was a pre-owned at Gamestop.

I just tested the game on my iPad, and I've come to conclusion that the timing windows are much worse than on an iPhone. For some weird reason, DEAD END is significantly easier to time than any other song. To be honest, DEAD END's timing windows are more strict on the iPhone.

On the bright side, that annoying disco ball backdrop is gone when played on the iPad.

The Japanese version of S+ has started a "campaign" where you can download every song for free now.

Anyone knows the song listing for the courses in this game? I want to create the courses but I haven't found info about that.

don't think S+ had a course mode, S did though. (can't seem to find any course info on that game either...)

Well, I have one of the two IPA's, but I don't know what is I've extracted some resources and I have found this image:



As far I can see is a course list, I also have found the banners, but I don't know what game is and what is the list of song for every course. I've been searching on google, but I haven't found information.

I still have the old DDR S in my iPhone 4... I can do screencap or list out all the songs under each courses if you want...
