it was GOOD
it was a good show guys. like 2-3 botches per match, but good overall.
I HAVE GRIPES, I'LL GET TO IT.

1. The Usos vs Breezango - 2/5 LOUD POPS ON A PRESHOW
So WWE fans hate Reigns and I guess anybody that is Samoan, because damn the Usos got boo'd like hell when they made a comeback in this. Breezango looked good, at this point it would be nice for them to look good on anything. Breeze got his knees up on a Jimmy Uso splash and won with a small package. Crowd loved it. Remember when The Usos were champions?

2. Sasha and ???? vs Charlotte and Dana Brooke - 2.5/5 THE PPV IS SAVED, HUGS FOR EVERYONE
So Bayley was the MYSTERY PARTNER, even though it was seen as common knowledge that she was going to be the partner (I had my doubts they would do the right thing). HUGE POP, Sasha and Bayley celebrated forever and then Charlotte was all NAH. The match was good, fun spots with Charlotte and Bayley/Sasha. Sasha went for a suplex off the ropes, fucked it up royally. Dana is still not that good and sets up her spots ahead of time. Sasha forced Charlotte to submit, Bayley and Sasha hugged afterwards, very nice. Sounds like Bayley is going back to NXT after tonight, which is fine. She'll be back.

3. The New Day vs The Wyatt Family - 2.75/5 BIG E LANGSTON - READY TO DIE (2016)
Solid match, Wyatts looked very dominant as they should. Kofi got worked for a while early, Xavier was spooked into the corner. Kofi broke free and Big E ran wild knocking Rowan, Braun and Bray all over the place. They did the tease with Xavier almost turning, but then overcoming his fear and going nuts with punches, Big E went for a dive through the ropes and OH GOD STOP DOING THAT BIG E he landed on his fucking neck again, god damn. Bray hit Sister Abigail on Woods for the win.
Also, i'm pretty sure Kofi was the legal man at the end.

4. Rusev vs. Zack Ryder - 2.25/5 MORE BRO THAN YOU CAN HANDLE, BRO
Zack looked like he was ready to bleed AMERICA, jesus broski. Rusev was just ready to break him like a twig, and he did, pretty easily, but the match was still decent. Rusev tried to put him back into the acolade after the match was over, but Mojo ran into the ring to confront Rusev, who kinda just looked at him like he was a waste of his time and left. Or more appropriately, like he was some geek that ran in from the crowd.

5. Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens - 4/5 TERRY FUNK LEVELS OF FOREVER
These two can't have a bad match. It's not possible, they've never had on before. They just beat the shit out of each other early on, it was the same stuff as usual but still good. Got really good in the second half, and then really scary when Zayn went for a moonsault off the ropes and landed on the apron, nearly broke his damn neck. Sold his arm for the rest of the match, even after using it for big moves. Zayn planted Owens on the apron with a brainbuster, this match is officially the best one tonight as of now. pair of near-falls, Owens got really frustrated and slapped Zayn, who bounced back and beat the fuck out of Owens, landed two helluva kicks and got the pin.

6. Natalya vs Becky Lynch - 2/5 PISS
This wasn't bad, but they had to follow that match so yeah, good luck. Not a lot to say, Natalya just worked Becky the whole match, and put her in the Sharpshooter FOR AN HOUR until she tapped. She did it earlier in the match, but who cares. Nobody comes out strong, we're all weak here.

7. The Miz vs Darren Young - 1/5 AT LEAST THEY'RE ON DIFFERENT ROSTERS
Darren Young is getting pushed as a wrestler cause he's training with Backlund, but he can't do all that floor/mat wrestling, so he's terrible when he does it. It doesn't help that The Miz isn't doing anything to a) make him look good/strong or b) keep a steady pace in the ring and make the match look exciting. REST HOLD CITY BITCH. At some point Bob and Maryse got into some stupid fight and Bob got slapped and sold it like he got hit with a sledgehammer and fell on his ass. Maryse sat and pretended she got hit, Miz went and knocked Bob down again, Darren put the crossface chicken wing on The Miz outside the ring and there was a double DQ. A DOUBLE DQ ON A PPV. MMMMM YES GOOD

8. John Cena, Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs The Club - 3/5 NO CROCS. EVER.
By the time Cena, Enzo and Cass made their entrances and everyone finished speaking, you could have gone out to a nice restaurant, ordered food, ate, come back, and the Club would have started walking down the ramp. It went on forever, but the fans loved it. Enzo looked really good this match. Not gear-wise, but that's not important. Club beat up on Enzo and Cass for the most part early, momentum shifted when BIG MATCH JOHN entered, as it always does. AJ and Cena went at it, eventually everyone kinda brawled and bodies went everywhere. Fun match, Cena planted AJ with a Super AA for the win, I liked that.

9. Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose - 3.25/5 SMACKDOWN WINS
There was a mention that WWE was going to put more focus on the wrestlers/performers. Cue the GM/Commissioner of BOTH BRANDS getting their individual entrances before the fucking match. It's almost 11PM. The PPV has hit nearly 4 hours, the match hasn't started, MY GOD. Maybe it's the beard, or the camera angles, but looks like Roman has a gut. He looked ok in the match, moved around well. Seth looked strong, beat the hell out of both Dean and Roman, sure looked like his night. There was a point where the camera was aimed poorly and Seth flew from out of the camera's range, planted Dean with a splash from the turnbuckle, was neat. Dean and Seth teamed up on Roman and powerbombed him through the Spanish Announce Table, so he could take a breather. Dean and Seth traded moves in the ring, couple nearfalls, then Roman came in and cleaned house with a pair of powerbombs and punches. Seth threw Reigns into the corner, which is impressive, but he bounced back and knocked him out cold and went for the pin. Dean came literally out of fucking nowhere and landed Dirty Deeds and got the pin, was a great finish. I loved it.

THIS WAS TOO LONG, ALMOST FOUR AND A HALF HOURS OF WWE HOLY FUG
but it was still good

POST MATCH THOUGHTS

The Miz/Darren finish was so stupid no one gets points. Ordinarily I'd give everyone two points for a screwy finish that no one predicted but considering how BAD it was, I don't want to touch those points. I know where they've been.

Unbelievably, Ham has taken the title from me. Just means I have to superkick him a bit harder come next PPV.

Highflyer has a great debut, scoring a 2nd out of 5 players and beating the current champion himself.

I fell a little short, mostly because I was going with what I /wanted/ and not what I /thought/ was going to happen with guys like Ryder and The Club.

Mokou was not on her game this time around.

Oni got buttfucked.

I'm still mad that the Club somehow lost /another/ big match. Fuck Japan, amirite Vince?

I'm actually impressed he beat Roman Reigns to face Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at Summerslam.

I'm super excited for it. Also Ziggler winning the match to get into the Summerslam match against Ambrose was a great surprise.

I'm not just loving the rise that he's getting, I'm loving the fall from grace Roman's getting. They could have silently nerfed him, but no, this is a public mauling, he deserves every last bit of it, and the people are lapping up the blood. Fantastic.
