Gwineaux Records (fictitious record label for fake music)

Gwineaux (Gwinelle Faux) Records is an experimental media project and fictitious label for fake music. Random computer generated audio is packaged using random computer generated images to acheive an aesthetic similar to real commercially released music. We use http://www.fakemusicgenerator.com to obtain MIDI files that we encode to high quality (256 kbps) MP3 using http://www.solmire.com and we get our cover art using http://www.random-art.org/online, and then we tag and label everything by hand to make it look like something you'd see on Bandcamp or any other digital music retailer. Because of the fact that everything is randomly generated by computers, and all we do is put it together, we don't (and probably can't) place any kind of copyright on any of our releases, which means that you're free to share what we release and use it however you see fit, although we do kindly ask, in the interest of morality, that you do not sell our releases for profit by any means. Since we, the publishers, are not selling them ourselves, it wouldn't be considered fair to us for you to do so. With all that said, we do hope that you enjoy our releases, and we thank you for your interest.

After all the messing about I've done with this randomly generated music and art, I figured I'd take it one step further and yeah...

Just to clarify: any artist/song names used are used fictitiously, for example, "John Desire - Hot Limit". This is obviously not the one from DDR 5th MIX, nor do I claim that it is. I was thinking I might release a fake Beatles or U2 album, but I'm not sure yet. We'll see about that one...

So yeah, fake label for fake music. Enjoy, or something!
