Is there any way to fix the incorrect gradings in the results screen? I'm getting AAA's with 980,000-ish scores, B's with 900,000 scores, etc. The theme doesn't seem to be following the SuperNOVA2 scoring system for its grading, which it should.

You can change that in the options.

I already have SuperNOVA2 scoring system in options. However the grading in the results screen sometimes does not coincide with the score.

I have the same issue as well, even though I also have it set to SuperNOVA 2 scoring, but the grades don't line up with the money score.

It's because they're using percents to determine grades, which for stepmania is a bit different than the actual scores.
I don't know how to code the change.

When I change the settings from SuperNOVA2 to DDR Extreme it fixed the problem.

Forgive me, I know next to nothing about theming.

I noticed some things that can be fixed(added?), it mostly has to do with graphics. When the group is closed, it displays a generic graphic, when in the game it displays a graphic for the folder. Maybe there's a way these images, if placed in the graphics folder, could be autogenerated from the MusicWheellItem SectionCollapsed/Expanded .lua. Some examples comparing the theme to the game.

This also applies to the "Random" mode.

Some other things I noticed (sorry for my nitpickiness, I think it's pretty noticeable from my comments on the forum): the tabs should dim when on the folder, the gradient that displays the folder name should disappear when on the folder, the folder name should be displayed below it's jacket, and HinaBitter has it's own genre folder now, maybe that could be added in the next beta release. The Random, HinaBitter, and DDR 1st jackets could probably be screenshotted.

And maybe this is something that's only affecting me, but the colored border around the jackets isn't changing colors. I don't see the graphics listed in the .lua either.

Thanks for the awesome theme!

Does that mean the theme is essentially abandoned?

Thank you for your feedback.

To be honest, most of the features that are different from the AC game is due to either A) it's a beta and we have yet to add it or b) it's hard to implement with our limited coding skills. For example, we can't have both sorting by genre and sorting by BEMANI series. That would require a custom music wheel to do so and that's no easy task.

For the group jackets, if you have the group jacket in your songs folders, they will appear in-game. As for random, I'll have to check if it's possible.

For the border color, it's linked to whether you had a full combo (among other things). It's something we had some issues making it work (i think we fixed it now).

---> In short: That's why we added the theme on github so other people can help us.

kenny is right, we're still working on the theme although, very slowly Big Grin

Writing a custom music wheel with advanced sorting options was the first thing I did when I started theming. The common response is that nobody gives a shit about sorting, graphics are what matter. So spend your time on what actually makes a difference.

GENERATION 24: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.

Thanks for the advice Smile It's taking me a lot of time for the graphics, but everything is being created from scratch.

Is it me or whenever I use this theme, the profile is not saved after I play a song? I'm probably experiencing the same thing joseph376 is encountering.
I swear it used to save. I don't know exactly what happened. Other themes save the profile properly but not this one.

Does anyone know a way to fix this? I don't know if it's my setup either.

Thanks!

In the Music Section Collapsed Wheel Item NormalPart in default.lua find the names, there can add folders.

In the graphic folder you will find some specific images with the name of the folder, if you want a custom folder to your liking, you will have to create an image of that name.

Did all of this
Got this:

I can still open the folders, but only the songs' titles are visible.

You most likely messed up while adding some entries in the lua file

Sorry, I already replaced the modified ones with the original files. Thanks anyway! I might try this again another day.
