When is the pack going to be released?

Probably not until it's ready, which may not be for a while. Some packs are already completed from looking at the front page though, so you can probably grab those finished ones if you are not patient enough.

is it the song need to purchase not for free to download?

If you are wondering about the rights to own and play the song, you need to determine for yourself if you have the rights. The music industry is so messed up that they have fought people against ripping their own CD's into .mp3 format and even if you buy the music on a service it is usually protected and unable to be altered. And if you get a clean copy of a song you are not legally allowed to alter the music without buying those rights separately.

So yeah we don't discuss the specific legalities of the music here because it's impossible to create a fan made pack of songs and make it legal without charging a fortune at which point it couldn't be fan-made anymore, it us up to each user to determine if they are allowed to play the song themselves, there is NO selling of songs going on directly, there are no direct advertisements or $ being transferred.



I just finished stepping "All of Me" I just need to tweak the patterns now so it's like 80% done. How do you step a 65BPM ballad? You step the hell out of the piano and vocals, I have a Hard chart that follows the Piano alone, and an expert chart that incorporates Piano and Vocals, I'm tempted to delete the Hard chart but it took some work to create so I'll probably leave it but I don't mind if DDRAddict modifies the file and decides to delete it, I permit modification of my step charts before uploading.

and the versions you guys are getting to step are not the full versions but rather cuts that would not be useful to the average joe and took effort to produce, so if something were to happen, I could theoretically claim a degree of transformativity. But anyway...

Looking forward to those "All of Me" charts! Also recently received "Rude" and "Best Day of My Life", and I'm especially impressed by the latter considering it's the first effort for the stepper (MRace2010) on the site! Keep the claims coming!

I think you misunderstanding my point already. I can't find out how to claim or download any song at here, so I was asking is it the song that compose by you all have to paid for download.

You simply claim a song by saying something along the lines of "I'd like to step [insert song here]!". After that, I'll get the cut ready and send you a Private Message letting you know to get it and where, and then you start stepping. Hope that helps!
