I'm having trouble running Lunatic Rave 2 on Win8, it crashes whenever it tries to start LR2body. I've tried both running in japanee locale and in compatibility mode (and both at the same time!). The only setup that does something other than crash is running in japanese locale with no compatibility options, in which case it creates a crash dump in it's folder after crashing.
Any ideas? And sorry if this was asked before, but I did a site search and didn't find anything...

Try running as Administrator and unchecking read-only on the LR2 folder. I don't know if this will fix your problem but this has been a solution to many problems I've had running Bemani games.

I've ended solving it on my own, so here is what I did: reload the song folders while running in Japanese locale. I added the folders while in my actual locale and that was causing tha crashes.
