BUMP: Quick question, has anyone had any issues with Line 4 Ruin's video not working? It was not working on my Stepmania 5 setup and I'm wondering if it's like that for anyone else. This is for people who downloaded the file with the video. I won't worry about it if it's just me but if others are having the same issue I'll need to fix it.

I was thinking about doing a side project along with PandemiXium 4 -ATLANTIS-. Without giving away too much, the side project would be 60 songs and would all be BEMANI songs. I feel as of late I've been pulling away from what made my simfiiles a big deal on here in the first place, and that was the BEMANI content. I guess you can say nostalgia is lost. The entire songlist would be all picked by users. This side project would also bring back requests in some way. Not sure if I will pick the users or just have it open to everyone or a mix of both. This would mean -ATLANTIS- would focus more on original and other music game content as this side project would focus on BEMANI only content. Kind of how PUMP PRO is a side mix of the PUMP IT UP games. A side project that's going back to my roots.

The only two problems are I don't want to put way too much on my plate doing two packs at the same time, and It would slowdown the progress of -ATLANTIS-. Would people be intrested in this side project or would it be best to focus all of my attention on PandemiXium 4?

It would be best to mix both together. Each theme can mean a different thing and you don't have to rely on original content for everything making your project flow better and make things easier. You can still pay homage to your old BEMANI roots while still providing us original content.

The deal is I got events planed and believe it or not, ATLANTIS' 50 songs are accounted for. I would pretty much have to change the format of how the mix will work and cut half of the to do it for both, but it could work. Atlantis' default list has 4 BEMANI songs out of 30.

I guess the other thing I could do is make ATLANTIS a 100 song pack and have 2 sides to them ala PENDUAL.

I think what I'll end up doing is make it part of an event for phase 3 as I don't have anything planed as an event for it yet.

On another note, progress for ATLANTIS is going very well and ahead of time. Expect some kind of location test/preview by the end of June, early July.

What's the song preview for ATLANTIS going to have? That's not for me to decide. More information on that in the next few days.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!


Never mind I'll do it now despite being two in the morning. So what's going to be in the preview for ATLANTIS? Well that all depends on what you vote for. What I have here is a poll of 28 out of the 30 songs that are on the default song list! (The other 2 being ES and EES). However where's the fun of just giving you the whole list now? The list is ONLY the song genres and their BPMs. If there's a song on the list of genres you want to see sooner rather than later, then here's your chance. The top 8 songs chosen will be on the preview pack. Not sure on a date when I will end this yet, so I say a month. I believe you can vote for as many songs as you want only because I can't make you pick only 8 with strawpoll. So please be nice people.

Now that I've finally got a working pad I can play DDR properly
I'm using this pack as if it was a DDR official installment and, really, I love it! It feels like a complete mix and I like most of the song choices.

Now, I might be a / easy player but I'm having tons of fun. I'm really curious to see what you have in store for ATLANTIS ^^

Oh yeah, you should update the full pack download. I got the remaining songs with that and it didn't include the challenge charts

Have you tried reloading songs and courses in the options? If you adding a chart to a file you already had, you will need to do that. I should have a direct download for it likely later today, but the category download on the site should have everything.

Voting for the ATLANTIS song preview will end June 15th. If there's a time for a spot (there's a 5 song tie for the last spot), one song will be picked at random.

An updated version of 4-1 STARFIRE will be out likely Sunday or a few days after.

Also if anyone is wondering. I've lowed the jacket resalution from 512x512 to 320x320. I had some issues with jackets not uploading on the site for being too big.






Some notes about the preview that will be out sometimes tomorrow.

athletic meet of Sound toy and [un]certain happiness will not have a banner or background but will have a place holder. I thought I would be able to finish them before now but I have been busy and never got them done in time.

Sound Without A Name won't have a video to it for the preview but will when the pack starts.

BUMP: Two big announcements. First, new song


Now I bet you are wondering what the (R) next to the chart is all about? Well I'm proud to announce that rolls will be part of PandemiXium! I feel like it's time to put a spin on things and rolls is just that spin I need to keep things interesting. Not many songs will have them, so don't expect a TON of charts to have them. Charts with Rolls in them will have an (R) next to their chart difficulty.

BUMPS: I just learned that with StepMania 5.0.7 and up, it's possible to assign each chart of a file with its own song, so one file can contain 2 or more songs. This might change how Scripted Connection⇒ is done now that I can have the entire file as one file. I'll update once I decide what I'm doing.

EVENT?

I decided that I'm doing my own spin of SUPER FUTURE 2323 with Atlantis. Starting in August, I'll have a new song from the pack available for download, BUT it will only be for that one week. It will be downloadable again once the pack is released. I'm doing this to full the gap of nothing going on with the pack and to keep me motivated to get the pack done. The starting song list should be ready by the end of August, early September.


Yes there's a song in Atlantis called Atlantis.
