I will see this opening night if I can! However, I'm still wondering what the Japanese might think of this... "oh crap, they're making ANOTHER 'original' movie using the Zyuranger costumes..."

I wonder who they are going to get to portray the original rangers? I think it would be hard to get the original actors, as far as I know Thuy Trang the actress that portrayed Trini Kwan passed away. Though I would be impressed if they get Jason David Frank (Dr. Tommy Oliver) and Austin St. Jon (Jason Lee Scott) as both made reappearance in the Power Rangers series.

Why do I have a bad feeling that Michael Bay got pegged to be the Director? If the episode of Dino Thunder entitled Thunder Storm was any kind of indication. That episode had a lot of explosions and now imagine that episode done by Michael Bay the explosions would be off the charts.

I'm definitely looking forward to this one. I saw the original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - The Movie" in the theater way back forever ago and owned it on VHS, but I heard that this new movie is not including the "Mighty Morphin" label and is just going to be called "Power Rangers". On a related note, I also heard that Zyuranger was licensed for release on DVD internationally with subtitles, so that should be interesting to see as well.

I am very excited about Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger being licensed in North America! With the original Power Rangers fans grown up a long time ago it's past time we finally looked at the source material for the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

Speaking of which I just finished watching S.P.D on netfilx. I just wish they had both Power Ranger movies on netflix.

sorry to bump this and its kinda related to the Power Rangers (its more so for the tv series and not the upcoming movie).
I'm currently watching Power Ranger RPM and in their garage there is an arcade machine called Beat the DJ and its an BM IIDX machine. Guess like someone on the show must like Beatmania.

This is related to Power Rangers and I didn't see it posted anywhere on the site yet, so I thought I'd put it here in the Power Rangers thread. This short film came out recently that took the characters and story in a dark and gritty direction, but for what it is as a parody of fan films, I found it interesting and enjoyable. It is NSFW, so be warned.
