I have a cobalt flux pad in my home now, but doesn't seem to be responding at all on Stepmania on my MAC. It worked just fine on my friend's Windows PC, and his PS2, but it seems unresponsive on my MAC. However, SM4 did detect that it was connected for a second, but then displayed a message that it was disconnected, a second after it finished loading.
