I discovered today that the Rising Purple event is pretty evil in its design. There are 4 event songs, of which Someday -00.prologue- is a new song for the event, except unlike the iOS version it isn't automatically temporarily unlocked for the event.

As for unlocking it, each time you play one of the event songs you earn 2 stamps on a stamp card, plus a bonus stamp the first time you play each one during the event. 21 stamps completes a card, earning you a prize such as an avatar icon or title, and you progress to the next card. Someday -00.prologue is the FIFTH prize in this sequence, which means you need 105 stamps. That requires playing the other 3 event songs a total of 51 times.

Although I suppose I already filled out the first 3 cards just spamming Blue Destiny Blue [Unlimited] and Dynamite Sensation Rev [Master] until I finally FC'ed them both.

Interesting event... but still it isn't as evil as our old friend RSF.

During Break Time, something really odd happened to me regarding DSDR Master Chart; I had to unlock 5 more jacket pieces in order to fully unlock that difficulty. I did an ULC and got 13000pts (one "50 or less Fail" challenge -3000- and one "30 or less Fail" challenge -10000pts-), hence I managed to unlock 3 more pieces, which means I only had two more remaining. After normal tickets refilled, I completed the unlock gauge once again in order to play the last ULC to unlock the aforementioned difficulty. But when I selected Dazzling Season (Darwin Remix) on my music list, Master difficulty was already unlocked and labeled as "New" on the top.

I thought it was odd and thus checked my last Unlock Challenge. Only the one in which I gathered the previous 13000pts was there, but the jacket's design was fully visible, without the two remaining 2 pieces I still had to get. Another oddity related to this is that the regular automatic message that should appear on lobi is not there.

Finally, I quote myself regarding one of my previous post:

My theory is once again confirmed. Even if you have the song in your list without a single difficulty unlocked, the game doesn't charge any extra tickets on hard or master difficulties. (I still have DSDR Hard Difficulty locked, yet the game only ask 5 tickets each time I try it).

I've had songs spontaneously unlock before too, I think it's happened to me twice before but last year I think.

Anyone know what's up with the DYNAMITE SENSATION event that was announced earlier? I haven't been able to find any info on it other than dates due to my complete lack of ability to read Japanese.

you forgot to add "as a Share Play". I know it could be rather obvious, but it's better to make it clear. Obviously I'll share it in order those on my list can have a chance to get it.

Haven't realized earlier, but someone already uploaded SOMEDAY -00.prologue- on youtube. It's a gameplay with no sound other that the song itself (sound effects Off). The song features its own BGA with REV's icon character (Akatsuki?) as main protagonist.

For some reason the song just reminds me of the IIDX song "Alphashear"

So just curious how can somebody tell the time for these events in EST? I believe the Dynamite Sensation event begins today but I'm not sure what the correct time in American. Could somebody explain that to me?

Also WIWWTW (Cross-Edit) is horribleeee.

As far as I know, Japanese Timezone is UTC+9 while EDT equals UTC-4.

So, in other words, it means you are 14 hours behind Japan's timezone right now (EDT). Dynamite Sensation event will be held from October 12th at 4:00 until October 14th at 27:59, which is the same as October 15th at 3:59, this according to the Japanese Timezone.
If we use the EST/EDT conversion, then the event should start on October 11th around 15:00, and it will finish on October 14th around 14:59.

I hope I have answered Cowtao's question accurately.

You're off by one hour unfortuately.
The timezone issue is one of the reasons I keep multiple clocks on my phone, as it takes a lot of the guess work out of timezone calculating. According to my clocks it's currently 3:00 in japan while it's 14:00 here on the east coast, so the event will start in about 1 hour.

Bonus: After the event awards come out I will have achieved 100 Songs unlocked in the game once I get Dynamite Sensation later today. Oddly enough it took about one year exactly to hit the milestone as my first day of playing Cross Beats was October 25th, 2014. Go me~

Ooh goody!
I won't be bothering with this one and I'll be using the time to try and get up to 2000RP finally... I'm so close yet so far!

Elite Select Festival.... yay.... I think I'll just try it on the first hour, then on the last hour. The rest I'll try to unlock more Master difficulties.
