I can't even clear 103-6. I've tried playing everKrack on STANDARD, MASTER, with and without a high speed mod, and with and without ULTIMATE on. And maplia's mission page doesn't have any details other than the two songs.

I'll try unlocking Giant Killing next, but which difficulty? What worked for you guys?

I played everKrack on HARD with no mods and it cleared.

If I remember correctly, I did 103-8 and 103-9 both by playing Giant Killing on HARD without ULTIMATE.

Here's a translation of the latest theories from 2ch on difficulty level and option requirements (question marks theirs):
102-3 and 102-4: HARD only
102-8: MASTER, APP

103-4 and 103-5: No speed mods, HARD or higher?
103-6: HARD only?
103-7: ULTIMATE required, difficulty doesn't seem to matter.
103-8: HARD only?
103-9: Finish with a full gauge, HARD only?
103-10: Finish with a full gauge, MASTER only?

104-2 and 104-3: Speed +1.0 or higher, finish with a full gauge?
104-4: HARD or higher?
104-5: HARD or higher, APP, A+ or higher?
104-6: HARD or higher, DAP, A+ or higher?
104-7: Finish with a full gauge?
104-8: S or higher?

Also, Maplia's wiki says there's a very, very small chance that selecting Random will unlock one of the two new secret songs or one of the two previous event songs that disappeared at the end of their respective events. It happens when you both land on one of those songs AND get a random free Unlock Challenge at the same time, at which point the song supposedly appears in your collection with all 3 difficulties locked. It's supposedly been confirmed (i.e. someone got it and shared it and/or posted a screenshot) for all but ロマンシングゲーム, and there's a guy on the top 100 RP rankings sharing Another Chance (I already checked and their friends list is full, so don't bother). Based on anecdotal evidence from 2ch, the odds of getting one of those 4 unlocks on each attempt is likely less than 1/4th of 1 percent, and that's with some generous rounding. So unless your name is Warren Buffet and you feel like buying hundreds of dollars in Japanese iTunes gift cards, you probably shouldn't bother.

103-10 is definitely Master only because I full gauge cleared on normal and hard with no success.

So there's a news post just added about unlocking Landing on the Moon (Insturmental)

Not sure if it's a universal code, or if it's an event in Japan that you have to go to in order to get a one time use code...which is apparently how it was obtainable previously.

The Landing on the moon Instrumental event is for people who visit the グランフロント大阪 CAFE Lab on 1/25 and 1/26. If you complete Mission 103-10 there, you'll get a sticker with an unlock code.

But I already completed it.
I had a feeling this involved going somewhere...but maybe this one will be a universal code, like the one for What is Wrong With the World (Cross Edit) that you were supposed to obtain from that Famitsu app.

Ughhhh this stupid Random event is stupid.

I wasted 5 tickets and got to play...Wanna Be Your Special...

According to this person's Twitter feed, it took them about 1000 tries to get ロマンシングゲーム unlocked via Random, another 200 after that to get Another Chance, and another 1200 tries after that to get Rockman (Cutman Stage). That's 3 new unlocks in 2400 tries, for a drop rate of 1 in 800. It's also 72,000 yen worth of tickets, meaning they either have more money than they know what to do with or they discovered some sorta infinite ticket exploit. Considering any such exploit would be all over 2ch by now if one was found, I'm going with the "too much money" theory.

Also, they've posted another upcoming event. Seems to be a cross between the previous two events - the leaderboards are based on your highest score on each song, but there's a concurrent "grind out so many points for a song unlock" sub-event. This time your score from each play is added to a running total, and the song unlocks are at 750K and 1.5M. Which makes the math work out to about the same as the previous Flawless Attack event.

My theory is that someone at Capcom hates his job designing these events and is trying to come up with ways to annoy rhythm game players as much as possible.

Hmmm...I think that guy racked up support points like crazy. Easy to do with multiple iDevices. Since you can make a new account and then friend your normal account followed by unlock challenges.

I thought of that a couple weeks ago. Turns out you have to pay tickets to play your friends' Unlock Challenges too.

If you don't care about scores being saved and just want to experiment or practice, you can also delete the app from your device and redownload the game. You'll have to replay the entire tutorial (you can just leave your device for each of the two tutorial songs), but then you can create a new account, which means a bunch of free Premium Tickets from starting out and the easier missions.

If you have a jailbroken device, you can also just delete the "SaveData_Cross" file. Contrary to what the name might suggest, it just saves your settings and caches your login info. Your records, tickets, etc. seem to be stored server-side and just get redownloaded if you log back in. So if you delete just that file and restart the app, you'll be prompted to login or create a new account (but the latter option still makes you play the tutorial), which saves some time in redownloading the app and songs.

Given the artist's name (190Cb, and the song running mostly at 190BPM), could this be by NAOKI himself?
Moreover, could this be the "P-song and T-song"-like future track NAOKI mentioned a while ago?
Personally, I think it is. It has some similarities to PARANOiA at least, and is the current 'boss' song.
It's a shame most of us won't be able to play it anytime soon...

Notes on the next event:
-Two of the four hi-score songs (最後の1ページ and チルドレン・オートマトン) were prizes from past events, will they be temporary available to those who didn't unlock them?

-Will they charge extra tickets on MASTER charts, like they did to Azitate on the first event? Just to be sure, I'll be unlocking the remaining MASTER charts (especially Binary Overdrive's; see why below).

-Of all valid charts Binary Overdrive MASTER is the one with the highest note count, meaning that is the chart to spam to get that Turnabout Sisters and Sengoku Basara remixes.

The event details says all 4 songs on all 3 difficulties will be temporarily available to those who don't have them unlocked. However, if you didn't have a difficulty unlocked before the event, it will cost extra tickets to play during the event and will become re-locked once it's over. You also can't start an Unlock Challenge on any of the 4 songs during the event.

It's long over...but still under maintenance. Ugh.

Ok seriously, what the fuck is wrong with this game. It has been under maintenance for over 24 hours now.

Update is now available, but I can't install it (i swipe the regions for updates, you know) Anyone can install now??

Edit: Now the update is gone!!? WTF!? Seriously!?

Come on Capcom, you better give tickets as compensation. (hahahaha, that won't happen)

What the hell? The update is listed for me, but I am told it is no longer available. I also can't find the app in the JP app store anymore.

Good job CRAPCOM.

They've tweeted that there's some sorta problem with loading the user data in the new version, and they've been trying to fix it with no luck. The app has been temporarily removed from the App Store while they figure out how to fix it.

The app has appeared and disappeared twice or three times... how many times, CAPCOM?? Please!!

Edit: Searching "CAPCOM" in App Store leads on the CxB App Page, and can install the update successfully, but... weird, when I start the app, the logo screen shows the version number (1.03.01) but still shows the maintenance screen...
