Also, protip: unless you really want song previews for the daily songs you didn't buy (and why would you considering the music store has the function?), delete your old copy of the app and reinstall (if you have an iOS device that keeps saves that is; I think it's just tied to your online account which is all your device needs to remember). I ended up saving 1.1 GB of space! Doesn't fix the horrible lagging issues though, which was why I did it primarily...

You shouldn't be getting any lag...just a sloppy framerate. What device are you running?

Also, when you deleted and reinstalled, did you lose any unlocks, either via purchase or guitar drop unlocks? Did your guitar drops carry over or did you lose them all?

I'm considering doing this, but not if I lose any progress. I do have my KONAMI ID setup and all.

I run an iPad 3rd gen, and I should clarify: yes, the frame rate is junk, but it also seems to be drifting incredibly. Not the notes, but rather your taps keep registering later and later and it makes playing impossible.

Also, anyone know the translation here? 2 days, and I haven't gotten a single stamp:

For getting the stamps, you may need to go the system menu of your iPad, then the notification center, and within it, in the Gitadora tab, put it ON.
Seems like mine was already enabled since I didn't had to do anything

So if killing other apps in memory isn't working, try power cycling your device. I really can't imagine the difference in processing power between iPad 3rd and 4th could seriously be causing those touch input delay problems.

Well, there's some apology notice on the news ticker of the home page of the app that links to a BEMANI blog post, but I can't read it, nor can I find it on a desktop where I could get a translation of the relevant text. Anyone able to find it?

How can music keys/Gitadrops be purchased again? I can't seem to find the items in the shop in this newest update.

You can't buy them anymore.

In order to buy songs, you need to go to the Shop, then pick a song - > Add to Cart x4, then buy.

You have to buy 4 songs together.

They're still ￥500 I believe?

This is the post on the app's news ticker, and I'm just putting it here so one of us can translate it.

It just apologize for the trouble some people are encountering with this new version of the appli.
The only things doable for now are
1. To close other running applications (double-tapping/long-press the home button and swiping/closing every window depending on your OS)
2. To shut-down the device completly and turn it on again.

They are actually working on this problem on their side as well, and should repare it in an upcoming update

The app has been updated to 3.1.1 and now available on Android devices!

...and the game still runs like junk for me, with taps still lagging game-breakingly late. Still, this new listening feature has partially vindicated this app from being deleted for now.

I think there's something wrong with your iPad. That should NOT be happening. At all.

I don't get why then, because all the other BEMANI apps run like clockwork on my iPad. I literally just got a Perfect Full Combo in pop'n rhythmin just as you sent that message, and I still regularly get SSS FCs in jubeat and AAA+'s in Reflec. Either the processing requirements for GITADORA are stupidly high, or the app itself has some sort of glitch.

By the way, I run an iPad 3 on iOs 6.

Oh, check your in game settings, and make sure you didn't accidentally change the adjustment timing.

I just noticed the Street songs are being looped right now. I'm gonna guess it's El Dorado tomorrow.

EDIT: Can anyone else pick difficulties above Basic in Collection Mode? I can't seem to do so anymore.
EDIT 2: Looks like it's a bug. Had to restart the app and it works now.
