Yeah but we also had 10 licences less than the American's. Arguably I'd rather have had the US DDR Supernova CS with the more/better licences. Also I'm betting that the only reason Konami made the online only songs available for our release is because, as far as I know, we've never ever even had online play available. Take On Me was awesome though, which is no doubt why they put it in SN2 for the Americans (and Japanese?).

With Hottest Party am I to assume that the game comes default with the 25 or so licences and the remaining non-licences must be unlocked through that 'Groove Circuit Mode' thing. If so from those that own the DDR version is it really difficult to get the locked songs? Also are there more unique and strange missions like in Supernova because I found those a bit hit and miss sometimes.

Dunno about for other countries, but for the US version, yes, it comes default with the 25 or so licenses. And yes, you must go through both rounds of "Groove Circuit Mode" to unlock songs no pity/time unlocks. It's not hard until the second round, but the second round only earns you one song. Nothing silly about the missions, just focus on doing your best and you'll get them. More info on gamefaqs if you really need it.

Is the game worth it?

I only like these songs:

I mean, does it really have alot of KOs in this game?
I dont like the song license very well.

I think the game is alright, charts are fun and music is quite nice too.

Oh and I bet this is tapping into the successful 'show loads of different people playing and enjoying the game' strategy. Seems to work better sometimes than a fancy image.

And this is not happening here. Oh well, at least it's not blinding pink...I'm not really sure whether to get it or not. I've heard the KOs, and I don't think they're as good quality as the ones featured on other DDRs.

Do we know yet whether the UK will get the same licenses? 'cause if you are, I don't see much point to working on simfiles off of videos, when you guys are just copying from edit mode.

It'll be very likely, considering the JP and NA versions almost have the same licences.

JP i think only had the Pluto the First song, NA didn't so probably I predict that PTF will not be in the europe version since that song is totally exclusive in JP don't ya think?

I'll really be envious of you guys if you get mods. If it simply had x2, I'd play HP more than I do. Similar for training mode, to nail down how the steps should be. All the stuff they left out of HP just bugs me whenever I play it.

Never mind, found it on YouTube.

A thought which came to me: 'Lesson by DJ' (if I've got the name right).

The original consists of something like "Down, down, down, D-D-R!" which is worded after the Japanese and American game, so logically shouldn't it be remade with the words "Down, down, down, Dan-cing-Stage!" instead?

I know it very unlikely and almost certain won't be changed, but it would make sense.
