I think Denmark think they've won it already, and it shows with the ridiculously overdone golden shower and that.

I honestly don't know who's going to take it this year. Anyone of Norway, Denmark, Netherlands and Russia could take it I reckon. I know Azerbaijan are going to be up there, because they always are, but I really don't want them to win. In fact, I want Armenia to win JUST so they don't enter.

Also, as much as I've heard people say Bonnie's entry is quite good on the Internets, I don't think it's gonna translate to votes. Looks like the BBC won't be looking into booking the Cardiff Millennium Centre for three nights in 2014.

If Denmark doesn't win, Netherlands deserves it. I really hope Azerbaijan doesnt win it again, of course they'll get top 10, but that's it.

Who knows, but here's something I just realized.

9 ex USSR countries are in the final, all 5 Nordic countries are in the final, no ex-Yugo countries are in the final (first time since 1985)

I can see how the final is gonna go thinking about it.

Cyprus gives 12 to Greece
Malta gives 12 to Azerbaijan vice versa
Georgia & Lithuania give each other 12
Russia gives 12 to Ukraine or Belarus (probably Ukraine)
Nordic gives big points to other Nordic ones
and your usual neighbor voting

Well... I was hoping to see Switzerland and San Marino in the final, instead of Hungary and Armenia, but I can live with that. I was unsure about Romania, but I feel happy they succeeded.

Whoever thought this was a good song needs to lay off the drinks a bit; they said the alcohol was free, but you should still drink responsibly! It deserved to go.

Crisalide (Vola) (San Marino)
Yes, they sent the 38-Year Old Rebecca Black again; but thankfully her song this year was not as bad as The Myspace Song (Uh oh, oh, oh no!). She is another fringe entry, but leans more towards being too "safe"

Pred da se razdeni (Macedonia)
Why was this eliminated? Its clearly a very powerful ballad ... oh wait what the hell just happened?! It completely changed archetypes (i.e. from Power Ballad to Ethnic Dance Song) in the middle of the song! I think this jarring change may have put off some viewers...

Samo shampioni (Bulgaria)
Again, we fall victim to the "fringe"; this song was actually pretty good, and I really loved those drum solos near the end (especially the part when Elitsa got to show off her skills too). The question we will soon be asking is, why did this get eliminated?

Rak bishvilo (Israel)
Another obligatory Eurovision ballad. Nothing of value lost, though she had cute glasses.

Identitet (Bulgaria)
Judging by some of the stuff that got eliminated in this round, this must have been a very tough round to eliminate people from, cause this song really rocked. And I mean it. They get 12 points for the guitar solo alone!

You and Me (Switzerland)
This song gave me feels when it qualified; its absolutely insane that this song got eliminated because I actually had it penned as a favourite to win it all.

That's a fantastic draw for Norway. Netherlands and UK being serious ballads either side of...that will either help them loads or totally silence them. Lithuania got the death spot, which is pretty much going to change nothing, it's not like they're going to win anyway. But still.

And from what I can see, this could prove troublesome for both Finland and Hungary... yet I'm not sure how Sweden will hold up immediately after Bonnie Tyler... Greece on the other hand has also got a good draw as well.

I'm not sure if it was so smart letting France start the whole thing either...

In my opinion they should had let either Belarus or Germany started the show. France starting it is very bizarre..If Germany was in the second half, they would had performed last.

I think Finland starting 4th can be a good thing for them since the first 3 songs are slowish and Krista can lighten things up with the upbeat song plus that kiss in the end ;) Found it funny how Turkey didnt broadcast the second semi final for "poor ratings" (but some say its cause of the kiss) when their neighbors Azerbaijan was in it. Curious to see if they will broadcast the final now

Also LOL Armenia being dead last in the bookies (but chances are it'll make top 10 cause LOL bloc vote)

I don't wanna believe the odds either, apparently they think it's more certain that Denmark will win... I mean why should it? The song is boring, Emmelie is almost never pitching the notes correctly, she's just strutting around and has no stage presence to speak of!

I personally thought that Love Kills would be the one that gets last place because of its lacking vocal performance (well, based off that one NF clip), even before the semis (meaning that I expected it to make the finals, but get crushed by everyone else).

I think the country that will get dead last will probably be either Belgium, Hungary (they been in bottom 5 last two years already) Maybe Spain or UK (hope not) or Lithuania, but I'll guess we'll wait and see =P

Since I will not be watching it due to work might as well just put down the countries who I think might win tonight along with a few dark horses

Personally I liked Denmark, but not enough for it to win. Norway I liked a LOT more. Azerbaijan did not deserve 2nd. UK DID deserve 19th (she was really off-key in the intro). Anyway, Denmark next year means a possible Safri Duo revival. PLEASE DO THIS COPENHAGEN.
