The Second Florida Thread

The only problem I've seen has been the DDR A folder just repeating itself so every song is listed twice (it shows up like normal, but then reaching Yeah! Yeah! shows the beginning of the folder all over again) but that's fixed by closing and opening it again.

It's very weird and doesn't happen often, but it has happened to me twice.

Yes New Century is unlocked permanently and there is a few new Extra Stage songs. Rising Fire Hawk is also available from Extra Stage Level 1 and the new Red folder only Extra is on level 2. Confirmed as of yesterday when I played and did all of the new event in 6 games.

Alright! Now I have a chance at beating New Century without LIFE4. I already AA+ FCed RISING FIRE HAWK, Astrogazer... you're mine.

Hey y'all probably know about this already but an arcade opened in Pointe Orlando called Main Event. Very similar to Round 1 but lacking any real music games unfortunately. Hey all, new to the forum, but long time player of DDR. Is there a DDR scene in Orlando at all? I'm a decent player but not legendary hah... Currently trying to learn PSMO single... Can pass it on stepmania but not on a pad/machine.

Welcome to Zenius-I-vanisher! Currently the DDR scene in Orlando is in good shape as there is a DDR Ace cabinet at the Dave and Buster's on I-drive. I go there every month or so to play, but I know some people go there regularly on a weekly basis.

Welcome to the forums, you're pretty lucky to be in Orlando, you got Dave&Busters with DDR Ace, as well as a pretty good amount of older machines around the general area (Kissimee, Winter Park, UCF, Full Sail, etc.).

I have a friend who lives in the area that hosts 'Bemani Days' at his house, and he's got people who bring BEMANI controllers and games to basically chill and play. They just had one recently but might not have another one until May, if you want you can message me and I'll let you know when they post the info for the next one. I probably won't be there since I'm currently stationed in Texas and soon enough New Mexico, but anything Florida BEMANI related just let me know

Hey, what's up guys!

I do apologize for the necro-bump, but I came out of hiding to see what's up in the Florida Community of Rhythm Games and others. I just finished community college recently and now I want to come back to the community again since I have more free time on my hands. On the side, I've been going to Chewy Boba Fullsail Regularly for some DDR when I had free time on my hands.

I may also be buying a DDR Machine from Adventure Landing in St. Augustine and turning it into ITG.

So how is everyone as of late?

I have never heard of Chewy Boba Fullsail actually. Just looked it up and it seems very interesting!

As of late, just been playing DDR A every now and then. Once a month or so. I plan to play way more once I finish high school.

Chewy Boba Fullsail is nice. I'd like to go there more to play Pump, but I just never get around to it. I mainly just go to D&B every Wednesday and some other random day (usually Friday) to play Ace. Might start going even more often since the semester's over. Plenty of regulars there that idk if they even go on here

Our guys (Team Oni) take care of the machines at Chewy Boba Fullsail. Let us know what you guys think about the machines + if there are any issues with it

The machines at Chewy Boba Fullsail are awesome. The only thing that would make the place any better is the addition of an ITG Machine in addition to DDR and Pump.

(okay yes, I will admit that I'm kinda biased to ITG/Stepmania because infinite customs haha)

Oh my... I might as well come to Chewy Boba every day if that happens...

If it does, I promise not to apply baby powder on the pads when it arrives. (because I don't like causing problems and I just need raised, flush panels to pass hard songs) I was just watching the rhythm game panel video you recorded at MAGFest and I found it fairly hilarious.

Machine should be installed by Monday. There are also plans on putting in DDR 2014 with card reader support in the works. And apparently, the next Team Oni Tournament might include ITG. I'll definitely keep everyone here posted on these upcoming events.

Also, this may be EXTREMELY LATE but CEO 2017 is happening in Orlando, FL tomorrow - Sunday, Arcade Impact has a few dance games and jubeat for play, though you will probably need a weekend/day pass to enter the venue.

I know this might go unanswered within the community, but can the guys at Chewy Boba Fullsail turn off Stage Break on Pump Fiesta 2? It's actually annoying me at the fact I lose my credit immediately just because I either picked the wrong difficulty or just run out of breath/stamina during a song. I don't mean to sound annoying or anything, though I love the place and keep going back because Pump it Up, but the stage break is almost a deal breaker as I evolve as a Pump it Up player.

Also, hyped to see ITG2 at Chewy Boba soon! Let's conquer the Tachyon packs!
