Yay, I hope the tests go well. But considering what happened after the e amuse and IIDX tests in the US, I am not so sure as much as I would be. Anyways, good to see Konami is actually intrested surpisingly, consdering after what happened a few months ago.
And the fact they only think PES and YU Gi Oh keeps them alive.
If you're referring to killing PW, I think they sort of did that ahead of time so that they could make another attempt at releasing DDR here. Of course, that's just my thoughts, but I see no real reason for them to do so otherwise.

On another note, I hope they don't "americanize" DDR 2015 too much. It's what killed CS DDR for me a long while ago honestly. I've also heard that it's what killed Beatmania outside of Japan and other Asian countries.

Approximately nobody asked for this song to be included. Least popular decision by the Japanese since Nintendo released the Wii U.

I hope they do licenses like they did with X2: J-Pop, trance/eurodance, an older US hit from the 90s, some moderate US hits, and eurobeat. Include some wildcards in as well (a few current US hits, US hit from the 70s/80s, revivals from previous games).

It's funny you mention X2 because I think we've already gone over how the X2 licenses were purged and what companies those licenses came from Tongue

Location test has been edited again. It's to be from August 4th to August 17th, not the 1st.

It's probably gonna go: DUNDUNDUNDUNDUNpauseDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNpauseDUNDUNDUNpauseJUMP. You can totally get past that part next time, Dr.D. It'll be interesting to see just what happens once it goes back up to 200BPM!

Question: At the beginning you can see that P1 has bright gems and P2 has dark gems. What's the difference mean? I used to think bright gems meant the player was in RDi Phase I and dark gems for RDi Phase II, but this doesn't seem to match up:
- Based on previous posts here, you can't unlock the Phase II EES on your own unless you're in Phase II
- Only P1 unlocked EES

EDIT: @sudocho Thanks!

Anyway, nice progress Dr.D!
Guessing that right after the speedup there's going to be five 16th notes, to match the bit after the beginning stop (if Beginner and Light are any indication). Too bad this makes it impossible to mash through...
Not looking forward to when you'll inevitably have to play this on 1.75x to read the 420 BPM part.

Fun fact: it actually speeds up to 210 bpm after the 160 bpm section.

If you pass OtP once(any difficulty), dark gems turns back to bright gems.

Though that's a possibility, hopefully they wouldn't do that since they've been pretty faithful on the song list from Supernova-X2, which leads me to believe that it's much easier to secure licenses for the arcade games than for the console games.

If I spend an hour or so to make a [..] beautiful standard chart and a fun light chart and it's required for the comp, play it, or at least look it over other wise I don't see the point anymore[.]
