Did you rephrase her post because you thought what I said was the result of misunderstanding her?
I understood her perfectly. But in the spirit of this thread's topic, I think it's pointless to fix the suspension when you have the ability to just get a better car.

Um. To clarify...
1. Battles made Dance Wars game amazing.
2. Events made this game betterand yes we need them how else was I supposed to really like Michael
3. GREE was garbage at searching and had some issues, but I'm all for the "Yell" system they have, as far as social aspects go. Never played S+, don't know if they had it already.
4. Stamina made the game strategic.
Imo.
I'd've thought the stamina item thing was a smart get-profit-quick scheme on Konami's behalf for the people who had no interest in the song packs (let's face it, you can never please everyone with song lists). When the pros ran out of stamina, the newbs had their chance to grab stickers when they couldn't be stolen right away. I mean, the only way I unlocked CHAOS thanks to those two blasted rare stickers was when I saved up just enough stamina to mission spam and then battle for the other one in like ten minutes. You wait in between stickers and you'll lose one.
But that's not a bad thing; it's kind of a motivator to think more about how you unlock things.
Then the events become a little more special, because they grant you those items you would otherwise have to buy. I joined during the first event (and shortly before studying for finals).. somehow missed the part where stamina was actually a problem. :P
And yet I'm not sure I could see Stamina being at all useful for a CS game. I guess one reason being you've already bought it in that case. And a CS game with like five songs to begin with would... probably sell worse than any other DDR game ever. ^^;
~Says the person who likes playing unlock modes over free play with 100% content. So how that didn't at least turn enough of a profit for the game to survive througha really cute Christmas event that I have wanted since X2 AC's last event is beyond my biased understanding.
5. I was mostly complaining about the timing issues that they magically took forever to fix and the people who claimed the game didn't run at all on their device.
5.5 Although the iDevice platform sort of sucked, too. Can't get friends to play it when it's on a device they don't own or like. >_>
6. Forgot about the DRM thing, but throw that into the fixing bin.
7. And friend searching/ recommended crew could've... existed/worked/something. Finding people was borderline impossible.
SHORT VERSION: I rambled forever after disagreeing with "we don't need [things I liked]," and I honestly thought stamina suited this game well.

If I could only change one thing about Dance Wars it would honestly be to remove stamina over everything else, including online-only play. Intentionally limiting how much you can play for real is silly. And honestly the only reason it was there was so you would be coaxed into spending real money on fake food.
That attribute alone made it a glorified Facebook game.

I'd take out every U.M.U Collaboration and GUMI Anniversary song and replace it with some new eurobeat that never made the cut from Dancemania to DDR. Figure it out.
I'd do an overhaul of the interface to make it look more like Netflix in the newer cabinets that have 4 directional selection buttons, so that instead of going in and out of folders you can just go up and down between them for extra efficiency and convenience. Upgraded cabs can stick to the current interface, and an operator can switch between the two. The same jacket covers would be used.
The default sort type could be some sort of genre based one much like Netflix, where going up and down switches between New KONAMI Originals, TV/ANIME, Licenses, Songs from 2014, 2013, X3, etc. I'd even throw in folders for HOTTEST PARTY and one called ULTRAMIX Universe, with songs introduced in the Xbox games, and folders for other BEMANI games as well as artists with various songs. Slow and Steady folder for slow-paced songs, 1,2,3 folder for beginner friendly songs, BOSS Collection folder for all boss songs, just tons of different ways to explore new music the same way you explore new content on Netflix.
Finally, I'd have a recommended foot rating in the Results screen. Depending on your score, the game recommends an ideal foot rating for you.
Example: The following scores determine your ideal foot rating for a 10 foot song.
0=1 feet
200000=2 feet
300000=3 feet
400000=4 feet
500000=5 feet
600000=6 feet
650000=7 feet
700000=8 feet
750000=9 feet
800000=10 feet
900000=11 feet
950000=12 feet
990000=13 feet
999000=14 feet
999900=15 feet
999990=16 feet
999999=17 feet
Depending on what you get, it would say "Try # foot difficulty!" Or "Keep trying #foot difficulty!"
Yes, I go crazy with ideas.

DDR also needs to see a revival of Course mode, especially the Drill Course. Maybe Drill Course could be expanded into 20 levels.

I only put that one in if some sort of bizarre math related thing came up that prevented you from getting a Marvelous Full Combo. Otherwise, it's just there for MFC's.
That is also another idea that I had. After playing, a custom folder could show up with recommended songs that have the ideal rating you receive or lower/higher by one number, and that are also related by some sort of hidden tags system so that you get similar songs. For example, clear a song with "HAPPY", "SPEED" and "LOVE" tags under the hood, and you'll get some jun songs like TRUE LOVE, SUNKISS DROP, etc. However I've always hated the idea of not being able to play certain songs without some unlock requirements. DDR 2ndMIX was most guilty of this. I don't mind just a few hidden through Extra Stage though.

Personally I'm not a fan of the "recommend a foot rating" idea, mainly because I'm good at getting high scores but bad at actually passing songs otherwise. I'm better at accuracy than I am at passing songs that involve great stamina, so it'll recommend for me to play a hard song and I'll pass out halfway through or something.
