It could happen, but it doesn't seem like 19's are even meant to be fun.

19's -COULD- be "fun" (or at least make sense), if the stepchart writers would utilize 24th and 32nd streams more effectively. Not every hard/boss song needs to have 300-400+ BPM speed gimmicks for the sake of being hard. I've seen plenty of ~140-180ish BPM simfiles with 24th/32nd streams that are written FAR better and make more sense than any boss song in DDR since SuperNova, IMO. KONAMI could learn a thing or two from these stepchart writers and apply them to their own songs.

And back on topic, New York EVOLVED (all of them). This trash looks like an Autogen chart with spins that don't make any sense.

I fucking love New York EVOLVED. The song. It deserves better.

stomp to my beat Heavy (2nd mix chart)

1:10, the chart makes NO sense at that point.

really that's the only bad part of the song, the rest of the chart is O.K, it's not the greatest but those two random 16th's are just stupid

actually going to edit my post and add this

behold one of the worst double charts in DDR, this song is SO off sync

(one of the song's that slurs the F word in the middle of it so sterf censored it)

"hi"
The Roppongi EVOLVED's DHeavy charts all versions.
Those really crazy pad transitions are too much.

Ver. A:

Also, B4U Voltage Special on Doubles. Those 16th Streams that end in jumps at the end XD. According to this, (http://aaronin.jp/eamuse.html), it still hasn't been PFC'd.

I really want to know what the hell the step artists were thinking for the entire last 15 seconds. Double-steps in the middle of 16th streams into a 16th stream that has a couple jumps thrown in for funsies.

Seriously, this is why the X-Specials or Radar-Specials are hated by everyone ever.

You know, the video was right in the post above yours. You didn't need to quote it. We know you were talking about it.
But whatever. Getting off-topic. Here's another SMM Special:

Yeah, sorry. I tend to do that even when not necessary. Oops

What is up with those Chaos-style stops? That's completely ridiculous. I get the feeling that was made ONLY to max out the Chaos section of the radar, and not to be a fun chart at all. Also, why are these called SMM-Specials? What does SMM stand for?

Street Master Mode. They were exclusively for the Japanese release of X CS. They were one of the small few memorable things about that game.
Thankfully, we never got any SMM Specials of our own.

When people say that Konami hates Europe and America, just link 'em one of these charts.

Actually, I would've enjoyed having Street Master Mode's exclusive charts for some reason. Would've made me feel like I was part of some exclusive club, even if the charts sucked. With all Singles charts, I'm sure if Doubles charts were made for the SMM Specials, they would've sucked twice as hard.

Considering Dr.D had to cheat and play with 513 just to full combo this, I'm standing by that statement.

Well, no, but being all smug because being vague has caused you to be all misunderstood is asking for a backhand.

Also I'm older than you so lolol I'm better and bigger give me your lunch money and that.

PARANOiA MAX SMM Special's chart is constructed of bits and pieces of other PARANOiA charts and that's kinda cool in concept.

Too bad it turned out so shitty...

Also I'd say X CS JP is memorable solely for the fact that it has PARANOiA Respect on it. :v

lol it's been years since last time i played this song and i still remember most of the stops. this was made intentionally like that to trip up people in Street Master Mode so yeah. at least it was kind of consistent?

remember that their stepchart creation tool is very limited during the early days so there are misplaced arrows at times. example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ku0Db68u9jo (around 0:45)

also personally i feel that New York EVOLVEDs are okay... but another thing that's bad imo is NGO for that middle section that's very hard to time :/
