The day that happens, is when CROSSxBEATS gets a level 99.9 in the game (I said that to my friend for this update to happen)

With some searching on the internet, this tune's actual name is [999] by Ninth (Light on the Glass Remix)
While the same song is on Sta's soundcloud: Light on the Glass - Sta

Weird stuff happening.

Just because the title appears in the artist slot, that doesn't neccessarily mean it's the artist name. The same thing happens in Otome's SPHERICAL chart.

Sta has recently submitted a beta of the new update to Apple which, after it is approved, can be beta-tested by users of iOS 8's Testflight. All you have to do is send him your email address via private messaging the Bit192 Labs Facebook page, and the update will be sent to your email when it's ready.

Act fast (?) because the beta is only available to the first 1000 people. Also, unfortunately, the approval time for betas is around 10 days just as regular app submissions are.

Ah crap. I don't have iOS 8 installed and don't plan to :/ hopefully I can get my friend to do it and see him happy.

Also, there was some gameplay uploaded, including the hardest (??) chart to be on Tone Sphere now.

EDIT: Found a better run on Linear Accelerator, chart is making more sense now.




I gave in, there are spots left after the initial start of beta testing, sent my email, and updating to 8.1 as we speak. So if you have iOS8 and Tone Sphere be fast and go send your email to the page while there is space.

quick update, managed to get ninth (LotG) and unlock it, its 9 stars and don't know what are the requirements to be able to make it appear.

I received the [999] chart for ninth LotG after playing the [444] chart (Lv.3 iirc) in Press/Start. So far all the chart unlocks seem to be based around playing easier charts for the song, but I think this might be one of the few cross-episode requirements?

All the new songs are so gooooood. wow. summerghost, Linear Accelerator, and ninth LotG are my new faves.

According to some guy on facebook, he says that it unlocks itself at 9am or 9pm (think it might be 9pm) and you have one hour to play it. I remember playing the level 9 chart first, I haven't touched episode Press/Start after installing tone sphere for the 2nd time XD.

Linear Accelerator and summerghost both stand out to me, including Ray (roop remix).

Beta 1.1.4 has been out for a few days, with a new playable song:

More changes came, also new charts for songs, Video Game got a hard chart, some songs got revamped Expert charts and Linear Accelerator Expert is still just as hard to unlock.

Hm... oddly enough, I can't find the 1.1.4 update in the US iTunes store.

Check in TestFlight, beta is still going at the moment.

Shit. I can't run TestFlight anymore.

Oh well, that update shouldn't be too far off from now.

Android beta released, its on the Tone Sphere website and can be downloaded for free

Android version is currently at alpha 3 and can be downloaded here or from the mirror here. It's got pretty much everything the iOS version has except that all the effect sounds have been replaced by device vibration (like Cytus). It's also got some bugs (duh).

Android exclusive chart (for now): STAGER (Easy)

Also, in that recent Tone Sphere update (1.1.5), there was a new spherical chart for "Imaginary Friends". Unlock method:

Activate the "sixth sense stealth" mod while in Solarsphere and then exit to the episode select screen. Then, re-enter Solarsphere. The chart should show up next to Sweets Holic (hard).

Ok, so there was an update to what is going on with the current update in progress. New song is going to be added: Out of your love by RANDO, Android beta version on google play should be on this month sometime, no specific date though. We have side sphere mode, don't know what that is D: and Spherical Extender is a WIP, don't expect it anytime soon, there is no certain roster of songs right now so anything can happen.

The Darksphere collection is a $1.99 IAP on Android and free for iOS, in a reverse of the respective main app prices. It's advertised to contain 20+ songs at completion. You can now earn an in-game currency called "Lumina" by playing songs to use starting in a future Darksphere update.

Tiny bump: Today, in tandem with Finite being announced for to be on CHUNITHM AIR, it received a SPHERICAL chart playable in Darksphere XXL which is balls-to-the-wall hard.
