"Full Stream Ahead!"
So sadly, my SM4 software got deleted(almost cried today) and I have no choice but to use Sm5. However, I use x2.5 on a good majority of my songs and would really like to add that speedmod into the software. Is there a way to do it because I can't find any programming files to open it. Any help would really be appreciated. Thank you!
Margo

If you haven't done so already, place a Portable.ini file in your SM5 root directory. It makes everything easier.
In Profile folders, which are in the Save folder of where your SM5 is saving stuff (%AppData% without a Portable.ini file), there should be a SpeedMods.txt file where you can easily put global (MachineProfile) or profile-specific (LocalProfile) speed modifiers. It loads them every time the Options menu is opened, so you don't have to close the game or hit a reload button to get changes to register.

Has access to CS 9th-EMP+PB+US, uses extended KOCs.

"Full Stream Ahead!"
So just typing it in that text file automatically adds the speed then?

Yes. Also, there's m speed mods (like m550) that will set the proper speed multiplier so that the scroll speed will never exceed the number, according to the displayed BPM.

Okay, I might have to reinstall the software because when I took my flash drive out, the x2.5 speed went away and when I changed it in my computer, the software won't recognize the speed.

Here are some images

I don't know what the deal is, but I might just uninstall and try again.

So it has only worked from the flash drive? You need to create a Portable.ini file in the folder that is in the same folder as the StepMania application, open StepMania, and change things in the Save folder, not the Data folder.
You may lose your records though, as I have no idea where the equivalent to the %AppData% is on a Mac (that is what you're using, right?) for you to retrieve them.
