Here it is - the slightly-anticipated hot new doubles-only pack from yours truly!

Yep, you read that right: "doubles-only". Each of the twelve songs in the pack has two charts. The DH is designed with DDR players in mind, where most of the rhythms are visceral rather than technical and the patterns are rarely stretchy or full of mines; the DX is written for ITG players, and may incorporate ITG elements like rolls, hands, and stomps.
I decided not to write singles because, well, I didn't want to Wink Some of the songs already have good and/or well-known single charts, and I didn't want to duplicate work.

Hope you enjoy it! Let me know either way.

Thanks to Captain Black, dbk2, Insane Steve, Janus5K, King of Light, Kyzentun, Little Matt, silenttype01, and Zetorux for testing/feedback.

Having no auxiliary port in my car really sucks sometimes, but if I hadn't been listening to the radio I wouldn't have found this charismatic triplet-rhythm song. Decide for yourself whether it was worth it; the D11 has a few triples, 24th blips, and stretchy patterns, while the D9 is mostly gallops throughout.

Everybody needs a little Synth D'n'B in their lives. You can blame the low quantity of gimmicks on equal parts DX/DH balance and laziness. The D12 derives most of its difficulty from the sheer quantity of steps with 16ths in, and the D9 has a lot of cross-pad transitions. Both charts rely on a repeated pattern at the end of each musical phrase; get your TSUGARU on for the D12 if you can ;)

I hadn't heard of this song until I made its graphics for a different project. Probably one of the few Vocaloid songs I really, REALLY like. Stepped to death in keyboard packs, but who cares~ Streams of varying length in the D13; the D9 is the hardest Hard chart in the pack with plenty of crossover.

Back before Sessions 9 and 12 hit IIDX, PRASTIK DANCEFLOOR made this awesome electro house track. I've rewritten these charts half a dozen times trying to set the right mood >_< The D10 involves step-jump patterns and footswitches to add bouncy, and the D8 uses a slightly experimental shuffle (don't doublestep it please).

A really cool downtempo indie-pop track. Watch the slowdowns. I got the idea for the D8's repetitive motif from the music video; D9 is just stretchy.

Angry J-rock music to the rescue. Graphics inspired by its music video. The D11 has a bunch of jumps as well as some short, fast ending streams, while the D8 is about as straightforward as they come.

I wanna know your name, or better yet stand there and just do that

You can spin on the D9 if you really want to, or you can practice your Zoo Zone technique, either works. Don't forget to breathe. D7 simplifies the movement while keeping a lot of the same rhythms.

An intriguing mixed-up tune from doujin artist cybermiso (a.k.a. sabamiso or SA·BER·MI·SSILE). A couple simple roll patterns and some mixed rhythms in the D10, probably the most modern ITG chart in the pack. The D7 is just a very predictable DDR-style treatment of the song.

This D'n'B rock tune pretty much lives up to its name. Not sure the charts do, though - the D10's main idea is passages of mine avoidance, and if you're not into that the slightly twisty D8 might be more up your alley.

An amazingly fun track from pop'n 19 with an amazingly confusing genre name of "animal minimal". OK, Bemani, whatever. The track with the most gimmicks in the pack, and that's not saying much. The D11 is my favorite chart in the pack, but requires a little inventive body swiveling and stretching. The D9 has none of that and is still pretty cool.

Toukarenjou, or "Peach Blossom Lovesickness", is one of my favorite songs from TЁЯRA. I originally discovered in the pop'n 15 OST but re-cut it from the recent ЁVOLUTIΦN album for this pack. The D9 is actually pretty pitch-relevant for a double chart, but just enjoy the experience instead of worrying about that ;) The D6 is the easiest chart in the pack, but I still find it fun.

Quirky tune from Pump It Up. The D10 chart is pretty quirky as well; be very careful with the freezes, and watch for the hands. The D8 has similar rhythms but less movement overall and makes for a cute warmup.

So this is where these simfiles came from. I remember these appearing on our machine at State College two weeks ago or so (dbk2 maintains the machine there). I have to say I enjoyed the BlythE d9 a lot and thought the Zoo Zone d9 was incredibly fun as well. Islands (both charts) was a lot of fun to play. I didn't really dig the Zoo Zone d11 Confused Otherwise, a fun pack in all.

I should be able to give a little more comprehensive review when I get back on campus.
