Edit> I can only nominate one? Bah, sod it, I couldn't get it down to just one and some of the ones I really liked are there anyways.

Ooh, tough call... Of the ones I really liked:

4th/Extra (not so much Extra) - The game was fine enough but it was those "Challenges" that I really liked about the game. Some of them were pretty hard, too. Even by today's standards.

5th Mix -> smooth arrow scrolling just like the arcade on a PS1? Great. The flashes of color after 100+ combos are still just as annoying, though.

Extreme -> Tons of songs, lots to do. The only thing I wished from this was a Challenge mode like what 4th mix had.

I hear Extreme 2 released only overseas was really good.

I enjoyed SN1, too. SN2 and X were all right but it felt like the mission/story modes were crammed down my throat and the actual game took a back seat to a secondary mode.

DDR II on the WII looks pretty amazing, though. I wish I had a Wii, actually.

Wait, doesn't hottest party 5 (EU) count as the same game as DDR II?

If you want to count it seperately... you ~could~ I suppose, but if they're identical (are they?), then why would you?

If there's exclusive licenses and you think that's enough to seperate the two, maybe.


It's DDR STR!KE, but with a selection of songs from mostly 3rd Mix, ULTRAMIX/FESTIVAL, and EXTREME, in the place of Ultramix 2's songs; and some different but equally-impressive licenses to the ones featured on it.



I'm gonna nominate DDR X (Japan). It's like "DDR Championship Edition."
