How do you get those 360x360 jackets? I may use your method eventually with pop'n rhythmin and upload all of those jackets

It's more a deliberate bodge rather than a "method".

I take screenshots of the jackets.

For the 360x360 jackets, I have to select a song and let the preview window appear ... And that's what I am taking a screencap of.
I transfer the screepcap to my dropbox afterwards and crop the selected 360x360 jacket with the help of a simple image editor on my PC. Upload it and done!

There's no secret trick or special skill involved in this: As long as you have an iPad (preferably not mini), you should be fine.

Also: I just noticed that pop'n rhythmin actually provides way larger (504x504) jackets.



I never played it, so I don't have any songs in my pop'n catalogue. It's up to you then!

That can't be 504x504, when I'm viewing it on my iPad 2 (which only has 1024 x 768)

Aww, damn! You're right. I completely forgot about the older iPad models with the 1024×768 px display resolution! My bad (orz

I need to correct myself here then: "as long as you have a fairly new iPad with RetinaDisplay (with a screen resolution of 2048 × 1536 px), you should be fine."


But yeah, even though they're shown as 504x504 on my iPad Air, they could as well be interpolated upscales:




They really look a bit ... upscaly at this point.
Nevertheless: even if they're really just upscales, they might originally be 360x360 like the ReflecBeat ones.

What's the jacket resolution on your iPad?
Shouldn't it be good enough, as long as the resolution is higher than the resolution of the jackets on the wiki?

Also:


Compared to the pop'n jackets, the ReflecBeat jackets don't really have that "upscale feel" to them, no matter how closely I study them.

Is there any way to transfer unlocks to a new device? Really don't want to have to unlock Colette for a third time.

Might have to find the file that contains that info and move it over to your new device.

idk if this would work, because I've never tried it for myself, but if you're on an iPhone with a older iOS, you could jailbreak and use Flex 2 for the "infinate lime points" patch and see if it lets you unlock the colette theme. Otherwise, you could use it to get free purchases for the songs you lost (not sure if that's what happens) and just grind those first-play points until you can unlock legitimately.

Edit: In a related event, I just had to replace my phone due to screen bugginess, and I tried restoring from a backup, but none of the songs transferred. Not even the default songs are showing up. RIP rhythm games.

Well, gives me some hope for SDVX songs in the future.

Two problems with that:

-(Nitpick) We already have some SDVX songs, namely EXIT TUNES licenses and the SDVX mix of Khamen Break.
-(More Notable) These aren't tied to SDVX, they're tied to the HinaBitter project, as a semi-spinoff that became part of the main story with the Coconatsu Smile Girls song. All this means is that we keep going with that project's songs, not the game series.

ポメグラネイト is the odd one out, with that Medium difficulty of 7...
