DDR Score Tracker

In "Score Tracker Defaults", I can select DDR A (North America), but when I go to the score tracker, there is no DDR A (North America), and I got defaulted to DDR 3rd Mix or something like that.

A song list doesn't exist for the NA game yet, for the time being just select the Japan region.

I agree with Dr. D here. My scores with greats are not the same as they are on the arcades and it bothers me. Plus timing is way more on sync on DDR A than on previous mixes. There should be no comparing the scores here.

Would a user preference help here? So you can pick which SCORE/EX SCORE calculation you want?

Something like this:

EX SCORE option:

Old - 2 pts per MARVELOUS/PERFECT/OK, 1 pt per GREAT.
New - 3 pts per MARVELOUS/OK, 2pts per PERFECT, 1 pt per GREAT.

SN2
A

I like the idea of adding the EX scores (even though I don't use it much) The ability to toggle sounds cool too. Would out be possible to pick which scores show up a DDR A scores and which ones don't our odd it going to have to be an "all or nothing "deal?
Maybe as part of this user preference thing you can remove Almost and Boo and replace it with Miss for those scores in X2 and later (or whenever that part of the system changed).

I think many option choices are missing or limited as well (Dark only has On/Off, when in reality it's Off/Dark/Darker/Darkest; Guideline is not a choice: under risky, only Risky/Off are present, Life4 is not there. I think there are more as well that are missing something).

I really appreciate whatever time you put into improving things on this site. Sorry for making so many requests. I just sort of remembered a bunch of things that bugged me a little bit.

Actually, Dark refers to the ability to remove the trigger arrows at the top (or bottom, hi reverse) as opposed to the screen filter options.

I don't know much about the internal workings of the score tracker database, but I imagine that there'll be some issues with removing almost and most likely making good a scoring step (ala DDRA) and keeping everything else and comparisons okay. Could be wrong though.

I've been entering scores from DDR A on an alternate account and noticed Elemental Creation S- and NGO S- are missing 1 step (i.e. they are both showing up as 1 step too many when I enter the score).

Never mind. Didn't know NGs counted as misses until today. That's what I get for using "Fill MARV" for my scores.

TRIP MACHINE EVOLUTION (S- ) does not have any freezes in the Score Tracker, whereas I recently got a score for it that has 11 freezes, that the Score Tracker claims are 11 freezes too many.

What you could end up doing is just change the name from (Japan) to (International), as it seems like the songlist for JP and NA are pretty much the same. Just a suggestion though.

EDIT: Also I got an AAA with some greats in it recently and the tracker showed AA. Not sure if this could be allowed but could there be a way for us to manually input the grade we received and maybe even the score? This could save you the time of making formulas for the DDR A scoring system.

Must have been left over from 2ndMix mode in X3 when it had no freezes. I know Paranoia Revolution was like that from seeing gameplay videos of the song in 2ndMix mode.

めうめうぺったんたん！ is not in the database. It has 676 steps and 29 freeze arrows.

And on Double, it has 651 steps and 22 freeze arrows.

Is there a way to make which mix the score was done on appear in the rankings? This might be somewhat of a compromise from what I was discussing before.


Either way, I personally am going to back up all previous scores from SN2-2014 on a new account.

Inspiration by DKC Crew (S-Exp) has the wrong stepcount, and I can't upload my score because it days my score has too many notes. It's 315 notes and 14 freezes.

Chikuwa Parfait is also missing.

EDIT: I just realized that is a 9 and not a 3 on perfects count. Stupid camera... stupid me. My apologies.

DDR X treats a jump as two steps and DDR A doesn't? I think?
