That can wait, as we also want true laglessness, besides, using component cables on your CRT TV is the closest thing to "IIDX in HD" (if your TV has the inputs). Also, November 7th is the last day of the BEMANI Week of the festival, so it's more than likely that it's something like SIRIUS CS.

Neither of those would be a surprise, as we already know about PS3 DDR and X2 CS isn't really overdue yet, so it's wouldn't be too much of a surprise either. If you'll excuse my nitpicking, the "BEMANI Week" entry on the schedule actually says "From November 3rd, for 7 days", not "From November 3rd to the 7th". That last kanji (間) denotes a duration of time.I still agree that the "surprise reveal" on the 7th will most likely be CS SIRIUS, though.

As unpredictable as KONAMI is, and considering how Naoki is still getting opinions about the continuation of IIDX CS, I'd not get my hopes up. My best guess is that DANCE MASTERS AC would be that surprise. I HOPE that it's IIDX SIRIUS CS.

I actually considered that possibility, but so far, Konami seems to have been a bit more straightforward about Dance Masters news. IIDX SIRIUS, on the other hand, Konami's been rather coy about. I'd think if it were Dance Masters, they'd just come right out and say it on the schedule.
I'd say there's about a 60% chance it's CS SIRIUS, 30% chance of Dance Masters AC, and 10% chance of some other BEMANI-related game.

As of YESTERDAY (getit? xD), KoJ announced the reproduction of the beatmania IIDX controller on Konamistyle. Apparently it's going to be the same controller, but with a different model number---RU029-J2. From what I read, the controller will have the same functions as the previous model(s), but at a lower price! 
Now that's good news and a possible hint of the IIDX CS series continuing. The "Surprise Merchandise" is supposed to be announced on tomorrow (Nov. 7th); we can only hope that it's SIRIUS CS.

* It's successful and in demand

* They haven't already released 14 versions of it on the same console
* You can't play it anywhere but the arcades right now
