I agree that it will help to sell units with a redemption feature however, consider the fact it is a game that doesn't pull down a handle to spin a big darn wheel and ends in less than 30 seconds. Those are the real money makers because they are quick and uncomplicated.

Never the less we will see how well it goes right?

And it is the first ticket redemption game for the music game genre... worries or good idea?

Not the first, but maybe the first to be mass produced.

Pump It Up has always had ticket support. Has it ever been used? Not that I've ever seen. Pump Jump also had official ticket support as well.

"Fairy-nough"
The ticket thing is really interesting to me, especially that I take it as a challenge to myself to try to find arcades that one can get things at sub-retail prices...if this machine enabled the opportunity to do so I suspect there would be a jump in serious ReRave players haha.

Aside from the time it takes to get through a game (I guess 1 song per credit, cheaper credits could compensate for this a bit), price of the cabinet might be another challenge to make this popular in arcades. If it can get past that though, and the quality isn't Betson DDRX machine quality, the implications of this may be really interesting. Regardless, this is the most I've been interested in ReRave, at the least.

(On the other hand though, a lot of modern redemption machines are pretty expensive, so we'll see I guess.)

That one's in the US, right?
Because I think I remember seeing a pop'n-style game in Mohegan Sun, but it was painfully easy. And I'd never even PLAYED pop'n before.

A music game where players can build up skill AND win redemption tickets? I'm in! Smile

The first redemption arcades to get this game better have their prize center shelves saying their prayers... :3

BTW, is there some place or way that I can get the audio files for the ReRave cuts of songs that have appeared on ReRave? I cannot seem to find them anywhere...

You sir, are a life saver, you know that? You have no idea how thankful & happy I am right now to have finally gotten my hands on ReRave music line-outs. Great, now I HAVE something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. XD

Now I can finally work on that new ITG songpack I've been dying to finally get off of the ground.

Actually...when I tried to convert it from a .rar to a .zip, the UnRarX program I have states that there are no files to extract. Do you think you could re-upload those two packs onto MediaFire as .zip files instead?

Personally (just to make things easier for both of us here), I am REALLY just looking for the following ReRave cuts in .mp3 form:

Black Magic
Dam Dadi Doo
Delirium
Ignition Starts
Insomnia
Shooting Star
Stream
Tricky Disco 2K10

I actually managed to unzip the files by manually changing them from .rar files to .zip files (which normally didn't work for me in the past), but somehow, none of the songs I'm looking for seem to be in either of those folders...
