HELL
KONAMI.
This makes Beat'n Groovy look half-decent.
This is even more ghetto looking than DDR X, though I must add the cabinet does look nicer than those junkheaps they sent us.

Cabinet looks nice and attractive. The logo clashes with the design of it though. Maybe make it look a little less harsh? Redemption support is a HUGE plus coming from the view of an arcade manager since thats the only thing in the store that makes any money. If they can execute it correct, I see this taking off.

pop'n music as it is in Japan would never succeed in North America. I hope this is a success and look forward to more information on it.

What was wrong with the BATTLE mode in normal pop'n (3-buttons each with attack button)?

Why does the logo (and game graphics) resembles Guitar Hero??
Why it's a ticket redemption game??
Why it's only 4-buttons??? (not even 5 c'mon)
Bemani will never be taken seriously outside Japan/Asia. You should know that by now, but this is like the ultimate confirmation of that. Soooo sad.

I think maybe you guys should try playing it when it's released before jumping to conclusions.

Nah, it's useless, the BEMANI community is all about instantly hating any change to BEMANI games in North America. Nevermind it might be innovative and fun, or that we don't know anything about it, it's probably going to suck because it isn't identical to a Japanese game man screw konami they suck ughhhh omg omgomgomgomg
Give it a chance, you never know! And hey, if this is a hit, it might pave the way for more BEMANI games, and that is absolutely a great thing.

...I'll take it.
It looks a bit awkward now, but when I go to Chuckie Cheese's or Dave N' Busters, I know I'll be able to get anything I want from the prize counter. A PS3 for $50? Don't mind if I do, Konami. :O

I'm gonna +5 you for speaking the truth. Then again, that's true of pretty much everything.

If this hits my local Dave'n'Busters I am beating the hell out of this machine. The fact that it gives tickets is just icing on the cake.

You're right, it's not identical.
It looks graffiti-ish. Forgivable. Ticket redemption. Okay, whatever.
It has four buttons. Four buttons on a game that's typically nine (or five, eat me). This isn't pop'n music anymore. This is hand-ITG with permanent Reverse scroll. You might as well take a drum away, turn the remainder into bongos and continue to call it DrumMania. No, pop'nUS doesn't have to be identical, but it'd nice if it at least somewhat resembled the game it's supposed to be.
Of course, this is all under the assumption we're allowed to have our own opinions. I know how much you oppose such things, but I know I don't always like the "innovations" Konami tries to shit down our throats.
