Yeah, it's one of the games where SS'ing the last song lets you "play" the ending song, as the credits are scrolling in the background. That's what I meant by "old fashioned Extra Stage" ^^;

Surprised you guys didn't talk about that Final Fantasy 8 song Eyes On Me being on 4th mix. There was a actual dancemania remix too as well. Yet I don't think anyone ever found any arcade data on it though. Also Crash! was a 9 on the DDR Extreme test location. And Vanity Angel has two versions of the heavy steps. One with freezes and one without. I think one version is a 8 and the other a 9 too? Correct me if I'm wrong though. I think the one on Euromix 2 is the one with the freezes?

EUROMIX 2's version of Vanity Angel (where it debuted) had no freezes, and was a 9. When brought over to EXTREME, freezes were added, but was downgraded to an 8.Post #64 · Posted at 2010-07-16 11:37:42pm 13.7 years ago

Freezes make everything easier. Out of Decaf Oni? Totally should've been a four.
Totally.
Totally.

I think there never were any steps made for it, it was simply there, like Timepiece Phase II(or something like that)

Can someone explain the whole thing with Beautiful Life on SuperNOVA JP? I think it was a limited time song for advertise some movie but I forget the details.
Also Captain Jack had his version of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame"(citation needed?) during the Extreme AC beta testings but it was removed come final release.

Beautiful Life was added to promote the movie Backdancers. It was removed at the end of the promotional phase. A weird, eAMUSE only thing, and something I doubt they'll ever repeat.

No. This was from a hoax, although it wasn't revealed to be fake for several years...and people bought it! lol
I had made a thread like this on bemanistyle a year or two ago, and when the supposed Extreme location test songlist popped up again, eddie decided it was time to admit the truth, which in retrospect was a million times better then that "DDR EXTREME II" location test April Fool's joke back in 2004.
