Uh, my accomplishment is experiencing a Japanese tournament for the first time. No picking songs or anything, just different heats based on different courses... uh... how can I explain.

First round/heat/wave/whatever was a choice between a "Low Speed" song and a "High Speed" song. I took the high speed song, it was Maximizer on Basic. I got 12p which was good for 2nd overall (a friend of mine got 6p).
Second round was a choice between a song with "A Lot of Steps" and a song with "Not Many Steps." I took the "A Lot of Steps" song, which was Till The Lonely's Gone on Expert. I got 27p 2g but still placed 2nd overall.
Third round was a choice between a "Weird Rhythm" song and a "BPM Changes" song. I took the weird rhythm song because I'm terrible at songs with BPM changes. The song was Chaos Standard.... which has BPM changes... and I had never seen before... so I was eliminated. (As was the friend who was leading in 1st the whole tournament) Oh well, next time!

I did get to see some interesting things like a guy who got 400+ greats on konoko and 300+ on Trigger heavy, and I got to compete in some side/joke tournaments and won candy.

Also I took these scores just before the tournament (both sightreads):





Maybe I should play Basic and Standard a little more often~

Sorry PanStyle, that is the home version of DDR. I didn't realize this was for the arcades.
What that video was of is the hidden steller joint unlocked in the home US version of DDR Supernova.

Some are funny but for the third round, i would be so pissed...

Chaos as nothing to do with "weird rythm" or even" bpm change" it's more "stops" or "gimmicks".
Weird rythm is "l'amour et la liberté" imo...

So yeah, sightread chaos (whatever difficulty) kicks you out of the tournament as well :s

Sweet sightread score also. Maybe you should take one of your favorite song and MFC (AAAA/Quad) it on basic :p

Ok my turn to post some stuff :
Iplayed yesterday, got 4 new scores on single :

Twilight Zone : Flag :s
I think i played it 6 times, everytime with a not so bad great count.
Now i understand well where are the wierd spot on the song. So i don't have to play it that much next time.
Anyway, this one is AAAble. I hope i won't have to do 50 tries in the future ahah.

AAA#56 -I'm in the mood for dancing -
I always tend to have great on isolate arrows. It seems, that i hit to early on those.
So i had to croect myself and wait the good moment.
This song is so fun to play.

AAA#57 -My sweet darlin' -
This one is great too. Weird that i had less trouble on this than on the previous AAA and the next one.

AAA#58 -Mr.T. (take me higher) -
I'm sure the song is late (steps are early). That's why my previous best was 3greats. Got it on my 3rd try yesterday.
Also i'm a bit too much used to the funny edit i made on this song for a friend ahah.

The last thing isn't a score but an other little challenge that i did for me.
I had to hit 15 000 perfect.

After every game (the final result screen), i took a picture with the total of perfect for this token.
Then make some maths lol.

I was so much in a hurry at the end (i had to took my train). The last 2 games were songs with a lot of arrow and sometimes my edits.
I was so tired after that xD

I finished with 15 508. So i cleared my little challenge (took me 13 games).

I know it doesn't really have anything to do with BPM changes, but I just wanted to point out how ridiculous the tournament's rules were. If they were trying to make two separate selections, in this case one with BPM changes and one without BPM changes, the organizers should have looked at Chaos in Stepmania (or even the CS editors, I assume):



I mean, sure, Chaos has weird rhythms in it, but it also has BPM changes! But whatever, that tournament's long over, I'm trying to get one more strategy-oriented happening for when X2 comes out.

And actually, MFCing something on Basic sounds like fun, I just don't know if my MA is really cut out for it, hahah. Thanks though!

I knew this one was possible. More possible than el rythmo tropical, get up n' move... (flagged both).

Also this song is not a 9 for sure. More a solid 8.

Played some Witch doctor. Rated as an 8 but this is a 9. I got 4greats on one of my tries (my best score for now).
I don't know how i could AAA this for now. Same for So Deep.
Too many arrows...

I got a good 2greats on Butterfly but that was one good run out of 3 tries at least.

3 days ago, I finally passed FELM Expert, despite it was my first time playing that song. lol
Also I passed MAX 300 (Super-Max-Me Mix) (I deleted the freezes though. Gotta try with freezes)
And the first AAA. For an easy song. Dynamite Rave ("AIR" Special).
