Some reason a repair on the user table did the trick. No idea what's happened there.

I've sent a ticket to DreamHost asking why it's been rather unstable recently. Hopefully they'll give me a half decent answer.

DreamHost just sent me a message saying they've moved the site to another one of their servers even though I made no request for them to.
I hope they've moved us to one where it's not that busy.
Bump: Server's moved completely now, hence that downtime and PHP version problems.
Will start v6 tonight as promised though. Bloody host.
Just a warning too: File uploads may have been reset to a file size limit 2mb, so any files exceeding that amount will NOT get uploaded.
Bump: Server is being slow, sent a ticket to the host trying to get it sorted out.

I wonder if ZIV is such a resource-intensive site that it needs a less busy server?
That said, I beg to differ if these load values are anything to go by:

Put it this way, it runs on my 2.4GHz, 2005 computer perfectly fine with only 1gb RAM.
I've said this many times, the site is hosted in a shared environment so one server can be used by many other sites too.
Bump: It\\'s been over 24 hours since my last ticket and I've sent another one few hours ago. DH are really being twats right now.
Bump 2: Requested a server mode, as this is just ridiculous...
Bump 3: They've killed the main domain, why am I not surprised...
Bump 4: Main domain down until they reactivate it...

Right, disabled the simfile section for now, as they were complaining about someone hammering away or something. We'll see if the problem occurs tonight again and I can see what's going on as it happens so to see what the hell caused all the downtime.
We are still on the shared server just so you know, I'm not going to be blackmailed to go on a private server when this one works perfectly fine.
