Is anybody *ever* going to rip/code Universe's Power Mode?

Pow 1/2/4 are the ones I'm most particularly interested in, but I do find it intirguing that all new songs have been coded, but the Power Mixes have not yet. Another suggestion as far as Power Mode simfiles go: It may be a good idea to put the mix name as the title, and the (Power 1) identifiers as subtitles; it would probably become very whacked to see UNI4 released in a year or two, and everybody have 5 stages called "Power 4." XD

That's a good idea. Then again, we already have three songs called "Fire", e.g.

Yeah, I don't know why anyone has bothered with them (or why Universe 2 isn't complete). After all, they're just copied from the original charts.

RoyBoy, I actually WANT to see them! For the same reason as the Solo Nonstops, and DDRX's Xmixes... because they're totally different stages.

What are you talking about, Power 1-5 have been done for awhile now, I've been playing them for over a year through stepmania (good stuff).

what confused me is that he said Universe. But when he said UNI4 i know he just meant to say Ultramix 4. If he is referring to this, they have been done for a year. They are marked at partial because I think it's just missing freeze arrows

Anybody at least have the audio/artwork to them? I could c/p-sync-chart them myself. (Give or take a troubleshooting phase.) My entire user-section (DDR PwrMix) is dedicated to stages like that, in fact! XD

Oh, you're the one that did the cool ITGvDDR mashups? Those are some hella cool, fun stages. I'd love to see a couple more of those sometime - perhaps one dedicated to the Happy HQ stages in each, or the notoriously slow/technical ones. I arranged to do 4 itg PwrMixes, but they each became about 9:00 in length, figured it was probably a bit overkill. And I've been thinking of editing each song to smaller cuts, but haven't really gotten around to that yet, either. -.-'

I know the UM4 ones have been done... I was wondering if the Universe ones were even on the working table, yet. Not to mention, yes, the Universe 2 ones as well - but I don't even know if the Uni2 songs have been started in the first place. The Uni1 songs have, obviously.

If you mean the original series, that was Inujosha. However, he stopped after 5, so I picked it up and started a new series.

They've been fully completed for a year actually, they just never got uploaded for whatever reason. I think that's being taken care of now, though.

i think this is bump worthy because i dont want to make another thread, so any progress on the UNI1-3 power courses(provided 3 even has them)?

also, the guy meant to say UNI4, its pretty obvious if you read his post. UM4-UNI4 would be 5 sets of power courses, so 5 "power 4" songs. it wasnt hard to figure out.

except some of them arent. the cut for in my eyes(midihead remix) in power 5 in UNI1 isnt even in the UM2 version. it uses the full version opening, with a bunch of step jumps. where everyone is getting it that EVERYTHING about power songs is cut from the original is beyond me.

Not everything, but in general. The exceptions, like the ones by Jondi & Spesh and Midihead that used original cuts and a few that are edited to smooth out transitions, are recognized. For the most part, though, you can track what's the same and try to enter that in clusters instead of one arrow at a time.

I have the mp3 for Power 5 that appears in Universe 1 if anyone needs it. Awesome song.
